Those flames're still rising up! You see 'em, right?! Endeavor's alive and fighting!! So don't give up just cuz the other guy's gone! There's still a dude out there risking it all for us!! Can't you see?!
Hiroshi Tameda speaking about Endeavor to the evacuating civilians in "Why He Gets Back Up"

Hiroshi Tameda ( (ため) () (ひろし) Tameda Hiroshi?),[1] also known as "Can't You See?" kid ( () ろや (くん) Miroya-kun?), is a loyal fan of Endeavor.

Appearance[]

Hiroshi is a plain-looking young man of average height with spiky pink hair and large brown eyes. He looks similar to Kosei Tsuburaba from Class 1-B.

Personality[]

Hiroshi is shown to be a huge fan of Endeavor, admiring the Pro Hero for his determination to always reach for the top without minding about popularity rankings. When he discovered Endeavor's apparent change in character, Hiroshi immediately flipped out about his favorite hero's sudden personality change.[2]

Despite this, Hiroshi is rather supportive of Endeavor, notably when he spoke out to the public that they still need to believe in Endeavor for protecting society from powerful Villains like High-End.[3]

Synopsis[]

Pro Hero Arc[]

When Endeavor is walking through a crowd of people with Hawks, Hiroshi attempts to approach him but is too shy to do so. Endeavor notices and approaches him, smiling while offering his hand for a handshake. This gesture causes Hiroshi to freak out, because it is not typical of Endeavor to behave that way. Later on, when Endeavor is battling High-End, Hiroshi interrupts a reporter on a live broadcast and yells at everyone to believe in Endeavor. As a result of his actions, he later became an internet phenomenon and a meme in Japan.

Paranormal Liberation War Arc[]

Hiroshi, along with one of his friends, watched Dabi's pre-recording of Endeavor's past, and is deeply shocked that the hero he idolized so much abused his eldest son and drove him toward the path of villainy.[4] At first, he refuses to believe everything that Dabi says and that people would possibly lose faith in heroes over this, but then edited footage of Hawks killing Twice is shown to make it seem as though the number two hero is a ruthless murderer, while Dabi also reveals Hawks is the son of a villain whom Endeavor had taken down before. Hiroshi's friend grimly states that whether or not Dabi is telling the truth, the damage and destruction to the cities combined with Dabi's statement will cause people to lose faith, and Hiroshi covers his eyes in grief.[5]

Someone with a picture shirt of Hiroshi watched the press conference in which Endeavor admitted to the sins of his past. He believed that Endeavor should have lied.[6]

Final War Arc[]

In the months that followed, and in aftermath of the Paranormal Liberation War, chaos erupted as hero society fell, forcing everyone to safety in evacuation centers while the remaining Heroes tried to clean up the mess. During the time of the Final War, Hiroshi was in an evacuation center watching the livestream coverage of the battles going on, including Dabi's imminent explosion in Gunga. He thinks back to Endeavor's words from his press conference and holds his hands to pray just as Shoto and Tenya streak their way across the landscape to save the day.[7] Shoto successfully manages to stop the self-destruction, consuming the inferno in his ice causing all the fire to dissipate and burn other, as Hiroshi and the other refugees cried out in relief.[8]

Shortly afterwards, they proceed to watch the broadcasted battle between All Might and All For One. Despite putting on a good but brutal fight, All Might was defeated by All For One and was brought over to U.A. so the world can watch him die. As he is slowly being ripped apart, Hiroshi and many others round the world all silently pray for someone to save him, with the prayers answered as Katsuki Bakugo is able to successfully steal back All Might from All For One's hands.[9]

After All For One was defeated, the only fight that remains was the final battle between Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki.[10] He and the refugees witness the battle at Mt. Fuji with Tomura unleashing a hoard of fingers, while Izuku retaliates as hard as he can. He eventually manages to break through the fingers, allowing him to execute a powerful smash right into Tomura's chest.[11] Hitoshi looks on at the broadcast in shock commenting how Izuku bulldozed his way through the blob of fingers.[12]

Shortly afterwards, Izuku receives reinforcements as almost every remaining hero still standing is warped to Mt. Fuji to take part in the final battle against "All For One". Hitoshi and the refugees watch as Izuku rushes into the battle, as everyone shouts that they can do it.[13] The villain unleashed hordes of Quirk attack all over the battlefield, blasting away every Hero who gets in his way, but they all keep countering against his attacks. As Izuku makes his way through the horde of Quirks while the Heroes protect him from incoming attacks, Hiroshi shouts at Izuku to "do your best".[14]
