Summary[]

Toshinori and Eri watching the news

All Might anxiously watches the destruction unfold.

A newscopter flies over the destruction of Jaku City, reporting on how a third of the city has been destroyed, and that the Heroes are continuing the evacuation of the civilians despite the chaos. They liken the damage to that which occurred in Deika City, wondering what force the Heroes are facing against. They also bring up the recurring terrorist attacks between the Hosu Incident and Kamino Incident, with this now the largest in recent memory, wondering what will happen to Japan. All Might watches the news with Eri in complete worry, while many civilians continue their lives unaware, while All For One smiles in Tartarus.

While the rest of the Heroes are busy with the sudden re-emergence of the Nomu, Endeavor continues his assault on Tomura Shigaraki, firing several Jet Burns toward him, but he's able to use his strength to dodge in the air each of them. With Ryukyu arriving to assist, Endeavor blasts a Hell Spider, but Tomura dodges behind him, knocking him into Ryukyu and all of them toward the ground. Standing atop their bodies he holds his fist in the air, sarcastically asking Endeavor if that was the fist he held up in Kyushu.

Tomura stands triumphantly on the beaten Endeavor and Ryukyu

Tomura adds insult to injury for Endeavor and Ryukyu.

Endeavor blasts him off him, demanding to know how the Nomu are still alive. Tomura responds that now that he has complete control over Decay, he was able to protect some of the Nomu capsules from being destroyed. He recalls a conversation with Kyudai Garaki who told him that the Nomu are activated by electricity and once awakened are programmed to follow whoever is deemed as their master. Near the battlefield, Kyudai gleefully praises Tomura for being able to save some of the Nomu and by using Radio Waves to awaken them. He also informs Present Mic that they are High-Ends which hadn't entered the testing phase yet, so aren't capable of full thought, but states they are still much stronger than the other Nomu, dubbing them "Near High-End Nomu".

Gran Torino heads back over to the battle realizing they're targeting Eraser Head, telling Deku and Bakugo to stay put, while Deku anxiously thinks about his words regarding what could be worse than losing One For All. Jumping into the air past Endeavor's Jet Burn, Tomura spots Eraser Head's location, speeding directly toward him and telling him he's in his way. Seeing him about to reach, Eraser Head thinks about how he can't die now, or else all his Quirks will return to him, and that there are still people he has to watch over until they graduate and become Heroes. Pulling his knife out, Eraser Head yells out in defiance that he's the one standing in the way.

Izuku flies in and intercepts Tomura

Deku saves Eraser Head.

Just as Tomura is about to attack, Deku suddenly appears, pushing Tomura into a standstill. Gran Torino tells him to run, but Deku rebuts that as long as Tomura's Quirks are erased they can still fight, since the other Heroes are busy with the Nomu, and believing the real worst-case scenario is losing their teacher. Thinking back to when he told Deku he couldn't be a hero on the first day of school, Eraser Head can only look on stunned. Bakugo then appears from behind, declaring they will do this rationally as Deku creates an opening for him to blast Tomura with an AP Machine-Gun attack.

Deku attempts to hold Tomura back with Blackwhip, but he simply charges forward, telling Bakugo he's no longer interested in him, just as Endeavor arrives with a fiery punch to knock Tomura to the side. He asks his interns where Shoto is, who responds that he is outside the safe zone. He further comments on how Tomura's strength is comparable to All Might's now, and that he won't ask questions why the students are here, just that they'll do what they can to protect Eraser Head and Deku.

Tomura destroys the illusion of All For One

Tomura tells his master to "shut up".

Tomura tries to think of a way he can grab Deku can escape, only for the voice in his head to return, commanding him to steal One For All, and leading him to call Deku "little brother", which the both of them react to in shock. As Tomura dodges Endeavor's Hell Spider once again, he thinks about how that wasn't him speaking, and realizing the ego of his master still lingers within and is too strong. He states that even though he's grateful for how he raised him, he can't help but wonder how the "Lord of Evil" was able to be brought down by one person. He Decays away the visage of All For One, declaring that he wants to be better than him, and that he wants to steal One For All for his own will.

Gran Torino tackles Tomura, saying that after training All Might dodging his attacks will be a breeze, and tells him to stop trampling over Nana Shimura's memory, who Tomura doesn't know. He further declares how much his existence hurts All Might and how much of a disease on the world he is. Tomura once again blasts out of Torino and Endeavor's way, spotting Deku and preparing to grab him. However above him, Bakugo yells out that he's just the bait, and blasts him with a giant Explosion. Deku kicks him away, and while thinking about All Might's words on how he doesn't have to be the same kind of Hero as he was, Endeavor charges at Tomura with a massive Vanishing Fist attack.

Vanishing Fist

Endeavor unleashes his Vanishing Fist.

Meanwhile at the Police Force HQ, they still have yet to regain their view on Jaku City, relying on the news reports of "pillars of fire" which they believe to be Endeavor. Then they receive word from the Gunga Mountain Villa Team about how they've located Re-Destro and while they've restrained many of the Villains underground, the fighting still persists. Over with the Rear Guard Team, Earphone Jack reacts in fear having just sensed through her Quirk a massive threat that has just emerged from underground.

At the Villa, the awakened Gigantomachia grabs ahold of Mr. Compress, with Dabi jumping out of the way, placing him on his back. He finds that both Spinner and Himiko were also picked up by him; seeing the naked Himiko causes Compress to be flustered and hands her a spare costume. Dabi remarks that with Machia active, it means Tomura has been awakened, and after dodging another attempt to grab him, he tells the giant he has someone he needs to get first. He approaches a frantically typing Skeptic on the ground, telling him he was interested in him ever since they first met, just as Machia prepares to pick the two of them up, completely befuddling Skeptic.

League of Villains and Skeptic

The League and Skeptic ride on Gignatomachia's back.

Mt. Lady continues her counter-attacks against Geten's ice, when she suddenly spots Gigantomachia standing in the ruined Villa. He senses his master and starts to run forward toward him, but Mt. Lady stands in his way, holding him back. The Heroes cheer her on while she struggles to keep him at bay, slowly being pushed backward. Earphone Jack continues to try and report on his movements, causing the U.A. students to worry, especially when the Pros with them are called forward to help as reinforcements.

Skeptic cries out to put him down since he has to support Re-Destro, but Dabi tells him to stay quiet since the Heroes don't know they are on his back yet. The Heroes try to catch up to Mt. Lady and Machia, wondering why the "walking disaster" has awakened and if something went wrong in Jaku, but are unable to do anything with the beast being too fast and strong. Geten prevents the Heroes from getting any further but is quickly swallowed up by Cementoss' Cement. At the same time, Edgeshot fights off against a Stress: 100% level Re-Destro, with the latter realizing that Tomura has been awakened prematurely, demanding to know what they did to their savior. He commands the remaining Paranormal Liberation Front members to follow Machia's rampage.

Dabi roasts Kamui from Gigantomachia's back

Dabi burns up Midnight and Kamui Woods.

Kamui Woods and Midnight follow beside Mt. Lady to assist, when Machia suddenly grabs her leg, throwing her to the side, and resuming his rush. Midnight tells Kamui Woods to get closer so she can put the beast to sleep with her Quirk, but they are caught off guard by the sudden Blueflame attack courtesy of Dabi. Midnight manages to evade but Compress quickly uses some compressed debris to throw at her, knocking her down to the ground, telling Dabi not to underestimate the Heroes.

Midnight is severely wounded

Midnight desperately thinks of one last plan.

Crushed on the ground and unsure of how to stop the beast, a desperate Midnight calls Creati, telling her the only thing left they can do is for her to sedate him. As Liberation soldiers are about to approach her, she tells Creati to create anetshetics to insert into the giant's mouth, and if they can't do it, to run and give it to the Pros. Just as she is about to be attacked, she thinks back to her words on how Creati will be a strong hero, and telling them to be strong, just as she's cut off.

Momo leads the Villa Backup Team

The U.A. Students stand strong to face their enemy.

The U.A. students begin to worry about what happened to Midnight and if everything is okay, while Creati becomes stuck in a deadlock wondering what they should do with the Pros already having left and the beast closing in on them. Regaining her composure, Creati commands Earphone Jack and Tentacole to keep watch over Machia's movements, and telling the rest of the students they need their help. Earphone Jack worryingly says he will reach them in under a minute, only to be surprised when she notices the movements having slightly slowed down.

As it turns out, Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods managed to grab onto his legs, helping to slow him down and giving them more time. Creating a bunch of vials of sedative, Creati declares that the teachers at U.A. taught them never to run from a threat like this, with all the students backing her up, as they all are Heroes. Together as one, she cries out that they will defeat the villain.
