Robot (惭惜惃惈 Robotto?) was one of Doctor Kyudai Garaki's intelligent High-End Nomu that he kept in his lab under Jaku General Hospital. He and his kin act as some of the secondary antagonists of the Paranormal Liberation War Arc.

Appearance[]

Like almost all Nomu, Robot has a humanoid appearance, although referring to his name, he has robotic parts implanted in the body. Unlike every other Nomu, Robot doesn't have his brain exposed but his entire head is encased in a robotic helmet. His legs seem to be mechanical.

Personality[]

Not much is known about Robot's personality except that he is obedient to Kyudai's orders. Also, because his Quirks are ranged attacks, he prefers to avoid close combat and attack his foes from a distance.

Synopsis[]

History[]

Before being turned into a High-End Nomu, Robot was once a villain with a disposition for combat. He was carefully selected by Doctor Garaki to be made into a Nomu for this reason.[1]

Paranormal Liberation War Arc[]

As the heroes start their raid on Jaku Hospital, Doctor Garaki prepares to use Johnny's Quirk to warp himself and Tomura Shigaraki to safety. Before he can, however, Mirko bursts inside his lab, inadvertently killing Johnny in the process. The now trapped Doctor releases five High-End Nomu, one of them being Robot, in an effort to push Mirko back as he tends to Tomura.[2]

While Mirko struggles with the other Nomu, Robot uses his spatial distortion Quirk to twist off Mirko's left arm. Despite having her forearm completely destroyed, Mirko ignores the pain by sheer willpower and continues fighting the High-Ends. She manages to dodge the rest of the Nomu to be able to attack Robot, trapping his head between her legs. Robot prepares to eliminate her using his eye beam Quirk, but Mirko uses her Luna Tijeras Ultimate Move to twist and rip his head off, and then smash it to the ground, killing Robot.[1]

Abilities[]

Overall Abilities: As a High-End Nomu, Robot has been shown to be significantly more powerful than standard Nomu and was able to fight against the top-ranking hero Mirko, successfully tearing off her arm with one of his Quirks.[1]

Quirks[]

Super Regeneration (č¶…å†ē”Ÿ Chōsaisei?): Like all High-End Nomu, Robot possessed this Quirk, however he was killed before he could display this ability.

Unnamed Spatial Distortion Quirk: This Quirk allowed Robot to create a miniature black hole by using his hand to twist a small area of the fabric of space from a distance.[1]

Unnamed Eye Beam Quirk: This Quirk allowed Robot to shoot laser beams from his eyes.[1]
