Hospital Raid Team vs. Nomu

Hospital Raid Team vs. Nomu is a battle between Pro Heroes on the Hospital Raid Team against several Nomu.

Prologue[]

At Jaku General Hospital, the Heroes begin their operation to capture Doctor Kyudai Garaki and Tomura Shigaraki. They enter the hospital and appear to take the Doctor off guard. Eraser Head erases the Doctor's Quirk, causing him to rapidly age. This leads Detective Tsukauchi to surmise this is the same Quirk that has kept All For One alive for so long.

Present Mic and Eraser begin to interrogate the Doctor for his evil deeds, but several of his co-workers misunderstand and try to protect him. Naomasa and Kido remove them from the situation. Mirko radios into Endeavor to warn him that Nomu are beginning to appear. The team expected this, and have already begun moving citizens out of the way.^[1]

Battle[]

Suddenly, a giant whale-like Nomu bursts through the walls of the hospital, carrying another Nomu like a like his tongue, armed with drill-tipped tentacles. The tongue Nomu stabs the Doctor in the back with the drill, revealing he was actually a double created by Twice's duplicated Quirk. Once the fake doctor fades away, the double, the drill Nomu proceeds to attack the Heroes but Endeavor stops it with his fire, all the while more Nomu begin to appear in the hospital.^[2]

While Mirko reaches the inner sanctum of the hospital where the Doctor's secret laboratory is, Endeavor tells her that they won't be able to back her up while dealing with an ever-growing swarm of Nomu. The drill Nomu tries to attack again, but this time Eraser Head uses his Erasure to cancel the Quirk, giving Endeavor the chance to take out both Nomu by incinerating them with a Flashfire Fist: Jet Burn. Another Nomu attacks them, but its blocked by Rock Lock when he kicks up a waiting chair and uses his ultimate move Deadbolt on it to use it as a shield.

The interior of the hospital soon erupts into a pitched battle. Endeavor he works together with his sidekick, Kido, who redirects the Flame Hero's attacks using his Quirk that manipulates bandages on his body. Rock Lock, Present Mic, Eraser Head, and Native among other heroes all fight against other Nomu as well. Rock Lock contacts Mandalay about the evacuation, and she replies that her team are able to evacuate the hospital in time.

Rock Lock opens a secret entrance that leads to Kyuda's lab, allowing Crust, X-Less, and two other heroes to run in to assist Mirko. Three Nomus charge at the Lock Hero, but are stopped by Eraser Head with his Quirk. Endeavor attacks the creatures with a Jet Burn, and the force of the blast launches them into other Nomu, reducing them all to ash. The Flame Hero compliments Eraser Head's Quirk, and invite him to be one of his sidekick. Eraser Head refuses, saying that he still has to take care of his lousy students. Endeavor smirks at his reply before facing another horde of Nomus.^[3]

After defeating several Nomus, Rock Lock asks Eraser Head, Endeavor and Present Mic to go ahead to the lab to help Mirko and Crust's team, assuring them that the rest of the heroes will be right behind them once all the defeated Nomu are secured.^[4] Shortly after the departure of Eraser Head's group, the heroes of the Hospital's evacuation team arrive to help, and little by little the heroes begin to overpower the Nomus.^[5]

The details from the end of this battle are unknown.

Aftermath[]

At some point after clearing a path beyond the ambush of Nomu, Endeavor reaches Crust's position. The No. 6 Hero is having trouble with one very large High-End who's blocking the corridor to Garaki's laboratory. Close behind Endeavor, Eraser Head erases the Nomu's regeneration Quirk, allowing Endeavor to blast it out of the way.

A few minutes later, after achieving the victory over the creatures, the remaining heroes of the Hospital Raid Team head to the Garaki's laboratory and jump into battle with all five High-Ends.^[6]

Manga & Anime Differences[]

• The anime expands on the battle, showing scenes like heroes fighting the nomus, or Rock Lock allowing Crust's group to make their way to the secret lab.
• In the manga, Mirko contacts Endeavor after he defeats the Whale-like Nomu, in the anime she does so before it happens.
