Final Performance (ラストステージ Rasuto Sutēji?) is the one hundred and twenty-sixth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the thirteenth episode of the sixth season.

Summary[]

Gigantomachia falls as he finally succumbs to the effects of the anesthetic from the U.A. students earlier. Best Jeanist proclaims that while he doesn't know whose work it is, it was the due to Heroes working together that enabled this feat to happen, while those Heroes who are injured are shown receiving medical aid.

Mr. Compress recalls back to six months ago, before the League of Villain's encounter with the Meta Liberation Army. The League faced against the Creature Rejection Clan and robbed them in order to get money to survive. The League is shown in a run down room near the mountains, trying to figure out how they're going to get their next meal. Dabi appears, claiming that he's the only one working on getting new members. Spinner asks what their goal is, as he only joined the League after being inspired by Stain. Growing up, he was discriminated against in his rural, small town for having lizard-like qualities, and believed that was how society and the world was. After seeing Stain on television, he realized how shallow the world was and decided to follow Stain's ideals to join the League. He confronts Tomura and asks what their goal is.

In the present, Mr. Compress proclaims he still loves the League and tells Spinner to wake up Tomura. He gouges out a part of his body to free his hand and uses his Quirk to get free. He further mutilates his body to free himself from Best Jeanist's grasp, allowing him to compress Spinner and Tomura and escape up Gigantomachia's back. He also compresses Skeptic, as well as Dabi, who retreated upon defeating Shoto, due to Endeavor being unconscious.

He reveals himself to be the great-great-grandson of the Peerless Thief Oji Harima, a master theief who had targeted fake Heroes who just wanted to get rich. Oji would spread his spills to common folk as he called for rectifying society's morality. Mr. Compress' grandfather told him that their bloodline is that of people who are descendants of justice. Shoto and Dabi square off using Jet Burn and Flashfire Fist against each other. Lemillion goes after Compress as he frees Spinner and Tomura, sacrificing himself to let them flee.

Burnin is shown fighting off against the Near High-End Nomu, as Master Driller aids her, but is then killed. At this same time, Deku's head continues to pound away, which he realizes is the Quirk of the fourth user of One For All: Danger Sense.

Recalling Tomura's words about his stuffed hands giving him disgust and peace, Spinner puts his remaining one on his face, causing him to re-awaken, unleashing a Radio Waves blast that knocks the Heroes away. However, Spinner discovers that All For One has taken control of Tomura's body, due to it being on the verge of breaking, and had commanded the Near High-End Nomu to help them escape, leaving behind Compress, Himiko Toga, and Machia as punishment for Tomura's failure.

The remaining Heroes try to attack Tomura but are all blasted away as the Nomu pick him up and escape. As Deku attempts one last chance to stop him, he too is blasted away, told they will meet again when his body is repaired. With destruction and chaos all over the battlefield, Deku thinks about even after all the terrible things Tomura did, when he saw him being overpowered and taken over by All For One, he looked like someone who needed help.
