Sharkyonara (ć‚·ćƒ£ćƒ«ć‚ćƒŠćƒ© Sharukinara?)[1] is a minor villain that is recruited by the League of Villains to assault on U.S.J., being a minor antagonist of the U.S.J. Arc.

Appearance[]

Sharkyonara has the appearance of a humanoid shark, possessing a fin along with sharp teeth and a long jaw. His eyes are yellow, his skin is light blue and his hair is dark blue in color.

His costume resembles a sleeveless jumpsuit, wearing a diving mask and diving cylinder strapped to his back on his suit.

Personality[]

Sharkyonara shows a cruel and sadistic personality, not feeling any remorse when attacking defenseless U.A. High School students despite having nothing against them. He wants to eliminate them as soon as possible, but shows some caution by not knowing what their Quirks are.

Synopsis[]

U.S.J. Arc[]

After invading the U.S.J., Sharkyonara and other villains head to the Flood Zone, as their Quirks give them an advantage in that area. There, he waits patiently until Izuku Midoriya is thrown into that water by Kurogiri. Seeing him, Sharkyonara swims at full speed to finish him off, but is attacked by surprise by Tsuyu Asui, who rescues Izuku and Minoru Mineta, taking refuge in the ship. Sharkyonara and the other villains surround the boat but they do not dare to board it because they do not know the Quirks of the students.[2] This gives Izuku some time to come up with a plan to escape.

After a while, Hanzo Suiden attacks the ship, waiting with Sharkyonara and the other villains until the ship completely sinks so he can attack Izuku and his classmates. Faced with this situation, Izuku put his plan into action. He uses Delaware Smash on the surface of the water creating a whirlpool that drags in the villains. Minoru then uses his Quirk to launch a large number of sticky spheres into the water, causing all the villains in the water to be stuck together. With her Frog Quirk, Tsuyu escapes the area along with Izuku and Minoru, while the villains are unable to do anything and thus defeated.[3] Sharkyonara, along with the rest of the recruited villains, ends up arrested.

Abilities[]

Quirk[]

Unnamed Shark Quirk: Sharkyonara's Quirk provides him with the physical capabilities of a shark, being able to swim at high speed and possessing a powerful bite. However, this does not seem to grant him the ability to breathe underwater, as he requires a diving cylinder to prevent himself from drowning.
