It's a Small World (It's (イッツ) A () Small (スモール) World (ワールド) Ittsu A Sumōru Wārudo?) is the three hundred and eighty-fourth chapter of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia.

Summary[]

Gigantomachia asks his master why he was left behind

"Why... did you leave me behind?"

Tsukuyomi sees Gigantomachia fighting All For One, figuring Hitoshi brainwashed him into fighting on their side, with Hawks saying that they've gambled on it with Mt. Lady protecting him, but is also aware that if All For One successfully attacks him, it'll break the Brainwashing. All For One realizes Hitoshi's Quirk was how they were able to get the Aoyamas to deceive him, commenting that it is his tactic, attacking Machia with a giant blast.

Despite the attack seemingly breaking control away from him, Machia responds that even though he looks different, he can recognize his scent as his master, proceeding to ask why he left behind. Hawks is confused with the response, knowing that Hitoshi wouldn't have enough time to brainwash him again. Machia thinks back to when All For One initially went into hiding, when he told him to wait for when his successor will come looking for him, and then yells that even after he came back in Tomura's body, despite having faith and waiting for him, he still abandoned him and ran away.

The Heroes and Gigantomachia fight All For One

The Heroes and Gigantomachia continue to pummel away at All For One.

With Red Riot having protected Hitoshi from the blast, the latter notes how both Deku and Machia are the only two to resist his Brainwashing, and how even with him under his control, he kept muttering about being betrayed. He declares that he is just along for the ride as a safety measure alongside his rage, adding that while a lot of people say his Quirk seems villainous, it has no control over a person's heart. Hawks mockingly states that nobody is on board with his grand tale, as the Heroes plus Machia throw their full assault on All For One until he vanishes for good.

Meanwhile in the skies, a news copter approaches the battlefield as close as they possibly can. The reporter says that she can't explain why she's doing this in the dangerous situation, but she just feels like she has to do it. She recalls shortly before seeing La Brava's broadcast on Gentle's channel featuring Deku and Tomura's current battle, realizing that he was the rumored "guy wrapped in rags", and even recognizing having interviewed him prior to the U.A. Sports Festival, and how much he has changed since.

The world watches the Final War

"By showing their story and however it may end... we unify everyone and make the world... that much smaller!"

At the same time, another copter appears close behind, with another reporter, the woman who confronted Endeavor during the press conference following the Paranormal Liberation War, apologizing by saying it is a personal matter she wants to help resolve. She follows by saying that Deku isn't alone in the fight, that even despite all their colleagues who gave up and stepped away, some still chose to remain and fight as Heroes. She says despite what is being reported across the world that Japan has fallen, there are still people who haven't given up and they are here to tell that story, no matter if it ends in victory or defeat. The views of Gentle's broadcast continue to increase as people around the globe watch the fighting, now knowing that it's not over yet.

I’ve been listening to Aurora nonstop since discovering her last month when she came to Japan. It was love at first sight.
