Despite Everything... (それでも Soredemo?) is the three hundred and sixtieth chapter of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia.

Summary[]

Katsuki overwhelmed by Tomura's sheer power

Dynamight envisions his demise.

Forcing Dynamight to the ground, Tomura Shigaraki realizes Izuku Midoriya was supposed to be there as well, expecting he'll arrive soon. Dynamight tries to resist and attack again, but is kicked up and grabbed by the throat, as Tomura says it's good his Quirks are erased since it means he'll leave a corpse behind. Remembering back to how enraged Izuku became when he stabbed Dynamight during the War, he knows it'll make a lovely present for him. As Dynamight has a vision of Tomura mutilating his body with an endless amount of fingers, Tomura taunts Dynamight, telling him to face reality that even after all the time he has looked up to wanting to be like All Might, no matter how hard he tries, he'll always be in Izuku and One For All's shadow.

Nejire Chan then appears, unleashing a Nejire Wave: Pike attack straight toward Tomura. He simply puts Dynamight in front of him, forcing Nejire Chan to alter the trajection last minute. With his back turned, Suneater stabs Tomura in the back with his Vast Hybrid: Octopus Mirage and Scorpius Toxin combo, injecting venom into the villain's back. However, Tomura simply grows a mouth that spits the toxin out, which is followed by even more mouths growing from the finger waves.

Tomura mocks the Heroes, telling them his body is constantly changing and adapting, and nothing will bring him down. In the chaos, Lemillion uses his Quirk to retrieve Dynamight, tossing him to Best Jeanist for safety. Tomura recognizes Lemillion from Jaku City, who introduces himself as the hero in charge of messenger and bodyguard duty, intercepting attacks from the villains and making sure information flows using his quick speed to glide across the battlefield.

Katsuki's unrelenting resolve

Dynamight is not done yet.

Lemillion asks Tomura why he breaks everything, which he responds is because the current systems have failed. Nejire Chan shoots her Wave Motions into Lemillion's arm, just as he responds that Tomura never had any friends, which confuses him to hear. Thinking about how his strength alone won't do anything to Tomura, but that he can guide Nejire's energy to it, he proceeds to land a point blank punch empowered by Nejire's Quirk, declaring that if he did have friends, he'd know there's plenty worth keeping around.

Best Jeanist takes Dynamight to the side, intending to sow up his arm since they still need his fire power. Seeing Dynamight's face of near defeat, he reiterates his concern, and that they'll all deal with it somehow, even though his previous experiences fighting Tomura won't help him anymore. However, Dynamight manages to let out "right side finger feint", causing Jeanist to realize that even after all of he just endured, Dynamight is not finished yet, with sparks of determination in his eyes.
