HIStory (HIStory (ヒストリー) Hisutorī?) is the three hundred and seventieth chapter of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia.

Summary[]

A young mutant recalls a time in their past hearing the cries from an angry mob, calling them a monster with dirty blood, and that no matter how far society progresses, they will never accept them or their kind. Due to Kurogiri being considered the High-End Nomu closest to a masterpiece, All For One determined that he was being kept in Central Hospital, so he sends Spinner, the remnant warriors of the Paranormal Liberation Front, and several civilians who advocated for their actions, to free him. An army of 15,000 people were marching on the Hospital, up against a group of Heroes and Police Force of just about 200.

Loud-Out Shout

Present Mic tries to blow away the army.

Present Mic jumps into the air, thinking about how popular Oboro is currently, releasing a "Loud-Out Shout" at the army, however they use a meat shield to block most of the vibrations. A flying soldier attempts to charge at Present Mic, but Anima uses his Quirk to command crows to save him, telling him he and Tentacole got separated while fighting. The Police Force try to defend themselves and ask for reinforcements, but there's no one to call so they have to push them back with their taser shields as much as they can, despite them actively dividing and isolating their forces.

As Rock Lock is being overwhelmed, he wonders how they're so organized, as they all cry and chant out to tie everyone up, and that they'll never understand their plight. Anima also gets pushed to the ground, asking why they're all doing this, while a heteromorph, recognizing he grew up in the city, calls him a traitor. The mutants continue to push and make a path for Spinner, while one of the Liberation soldiers addresses himself to the group.

He declares that Quirk counseling and education are complete nonsense, and they know better than anyone else due to their appearances. He continues to pontificate by bringing up "The 6/6 Incident", also known as "The Great Jeda Purge", a time where heteromorphs were brutally massacred just because they looked different. Even though the world claims that things have changed, thanks to the diverse city environments having far less discrimination, however stepping out of the big cities, there will still be people who say they give them the creeps.

Mezo uses Octoblow against Spinner

Tentacole knocks Spinner away.

He calls out to everyone who felt they've been living in the shadows, and that they'll make their own light to shine upon them. He tells the Heroes, who have never thought that they'd be better off without their Quirk, that they are not their Heroes; Spinner is theirs, and the one who will lead them to the center of their society. Meanwhile, the drooling Spinner's mind is growing more unstable, ever since All For One gave him the gigantification Quirk, with his head getting fuzzier. Even though he doesn't know what anyone is saying, all that matters to him is doing as he is told and take Kurogiri back.

Just as he's about to attack a group of officers, Tentacole appears and unleashes an Octoblow to knock him over. In retaliation, the army hoards over Tentacole, calling him a traitor for thinking he's some kind of hero. In response, Tentacole asks what attacking the Hospital has to do with their cause, telling them how back during the Jaku City attack, the first thing the Heroes did was evacuate the patients and made sure everyone was safe, and if they thought of that too. As the young mutant with dirty blood is revealed to be him, he pushes the army off of him, with his mouth and scars exposed, declaring that if they don’t have some kind of plan, he won't let it stand.
