Chapter 410

Farewell, All For One!! (さらば! オール・フォー･ワン, Saraba! Ōru Fō Wan^?) is the four hundred and tenth chapter of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia.

Summary[]

Now merely just an infant, All For One crawls his way across the debris, thinking about how he just needs to transfer his Quirk to Tomura, so that he can empower his suppressed other self and take back control of his superior body and mind. He also notes that his vestige must have been taken out before he could employ a "last-ditch tactic", so victory is still in reach to steal One For All. As he slowly continues forward, thinking about Yoichi, he states the negatives in life tend to stick in one's memory longer, which is why he wants to thwart the futures of others, so that everyone's eyes are on him forever.

Dynamight stands before him, seeing he still hasn't poofed away yet, however, he starts to cough up a lot of blood due to his injuries and has reached his limit, about to pass out. He thinks it should be okay, since All For One's on the verge of birth/death and can't even speak, so he'll fade away without his help. But then, recalling something he said to Eijiro in the past about "standing through anything makes you crazy strong", he stops himself, and angrily declares he must achieve an absolute victory. All For One is mortified and blasts a Spearlike Bone from his mouth at Dynamight, but he simply catches it in his mouth and chomps it off.

With his emotions getting the best of him, All For One succumbs to his rage, screaming and whining with all of his hate as he reverts back to that of a fetus. The Quirk Factors within All For One start disappearing, with Hawks' vestige thinking that the stolen factors returning to their former owners would be a nice bonus, but knows that's not how it works, smiling as they all fade away. All For One reverts back into that of an egg cell, and finally disappears for good. Dynamight passes out, upset with himself he wasn't able to strike All Might's standing victory pose, and with his left hand pumped up in the air as he lies on the ground, he tells Izuku to give him hell.

Several days before the battle started, the team set to fight Tomura met at Troy to discuss their plans. Best Jeanist informs everyone how he's bound to strike at U.A., and they must not allow him to touch the ground, as well as being aware in what they seek to protect. Tamaki, Nejire, and Edgeshot presume he is talking about the evacuated civilians and the collateral damage of the buildings, but Jeanist clarifies he's referring to the issue of Tomura's personality, noting they would prefer to deal with the All For One persona, who seeks to dominate over living subjects, while Tomura simply wants to destroy everything. With his strength and hatred brewing inside of him, his desire for destruction may direct itself toward the Earth itself, and states that in a world where they emerge victorious, even if they stood their ground and rose back up from dire straits, it will all be for nothing without a foundation to stand on, and reiterates what it is they must protect.

In the present within the evacuation shelter, the civilians, including Inko Midoriya, watch the live broadcast as they witness the area becoming consumed by a flood. Tomura states that he's using Decay not over the surface, but deep down, allowing him to destroy a chunk of the Shizuoka Prefecture in the blink of an eye, and that within just a week he will destroy the 378,000 square kilometers of the country itself; snuffing out any hope of restoration is how he will truly "destroy everything". Deku follows behind and smashes him, thinking about how he's been running The Second's Gearshift, The Third's Fa Jin, and The Fourth's Danger Sense in parallel to go on the offensive, however he still needs to quickly figure out how to stop him for good.

Tomura reveals that his "Master" is dead, all because he didn't break Dynamight hard enough, but still admits he's grateful, as he made him stronger, strong enough to adapt to Deku's speed. Tomura is about to touch Deku's face, but he just barely evades at the last moment thanks to Danger Sense, destroying Tomura's fingers almost immediately. However, Daigoro Banjo suddenly appears before Deku to tell him that Hikage has disappeared, and as they realize Tomura has successfully stolen Danger Sense, he asks Deku how long he can keep it up.

• An infant All For One makes one final desperate attempt to reach Tomura, but is stopped by Dynamight.
  • All For One completely gives into his rage, crying as he reverts into a fetus, and finally out of existence for good.
• Tomura uses his Quirk to destroy part of the Shizuoka Prefecture, declaring his intention to destroy all of Japan.
• Deku narrowly avoids getting touched by Tomura, but ends up losing Danger Sense in the process.
