Chapter 365

No. 4 and No. 5 (No. (ナンバー) 4 (フォー) とNo. (ナンバー) 5 (ファイブ) , Nanbā Fō to Nanbā Faibu^?) is the three hundred and sixty-fifth chapter of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia.

Summary[]

Edgeshot's Quirk, Foldabody, allows him to flatten and stretch out his body, and thanks to his years of training, it can be stretched thin enough to prevent blood loss; so thin that it looks like a spider thread. Using a bubble that Wash had given him, Edgeshot sterilizes his own body as he enters Dynamight's, transforming himself as thin as a surgical suture.

Despite Best Jeanist's attempts to sow it up, he couldn't stop the bleeding or internal damage, but through his form he can mend the organs from the inside and out, aiding his cardiopulmonary functions, and allowing him to revive his heart and lungs from the inside. However, due to stretching his body so thin, his own life slowly begins to fade away, as he thinks to the Heroes to keep on fighting, telling Dynamight he has to wake up.

Tomura turns to Dynamight and Best Jeanist, saying he already destroyed him, and after remembering back to his feelings on wanting to destroy everything, to rid himself of his itch, he pounces toward them in anger, reiterating his words. Mirko busts in kicking Tomura in the face, with her right arm still attached to the wave of fingers. He asks if she's eager to die, but she just laughs in response, kicking him and freeing herself, even at the cost of her right arm, which is bitten off by his bodily mass.

Tomura is confused by his sudden staggering, thinking about how he hasn't felt real damage with his body. Best Jeanist uses his fibers to wrap up Mirko's injury, as she charges toward Tomura, telling the "Demon Lord" how he's being so gentle. Tomura thinks about how Dynamight's last attack stung more than he expected, initially believing he's taken too much damage, while also noting that it hasn't been that bad.

He then realizes what he's reacting to is Dynamight himself, and that his rage during his onslaught was because he felt a threat in him, unable to comprehend the thought of panicking because of an "extra" like him. Tomura tries to attack Mirko but Lemillion appears to block his vision, as the charging Mirko states that people die when it's their time, and that she will make good on her promise to win. Declaring she doesn't want to regret anything when she dies, and sparking fear in Tomura's face, Mirko unleashes "Luna Rush", blasting forward right into him.

In recoil, Tomura thinks about all the Heroes still pushing themselves to win, even though he broke them, yet when he wasn't broken, there was no one there to lend a hand to him. Remembering the images of his family, "Tenko" begins to emerge from the hands, hair turning white and eyes becoming scarred, and while thinking about how nobody would even look at him, on the outside through Tomura's body mass, the visages of the Shimura Family begin to emerge.

• Edgeshot uses his Quirk to make himself as thin as a surgical suture to repair the inside of Dynamight's body, even as his body slowly starts to lose consciousness.
• Tomura, in a fit of rage, attempts to stop the Heroes from their recovery attempt, but is held back by Mirko and the other Heroes.
  • Tomura realizes that he feels threatened by Dynamight, unable to understand why.
• Mirko loses her right arm, being chomped off by Tomura's finger wave, but continues to fight, using her Ultimate Move Luna Rush to knock Tomura down.
• Within Tomura, Tenko starts to get corrupted as the memories of not being saved by anyone flood back to him.
  • The images of the Shimura Family emerge from Tomura's body mass.
