Division (DIVISION (ディヴィジョン) Divijon?) is the three hundred and forty-fifth chapter of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia.

Summary[]

The Mover and Shaker

Phantom Thief acts as the puppet master, warping the Heroes and Villains away.

Inside the "Troy" defense cages, the villains begin to squirm around and fight back, with Himiko Toga yelling to break out. The villains successfully destroy them, with Dabi mocking how they didn't even last three seconds, but Shoto rebuts, saying that three seconds was all they needed. The heroes proceed to attack, scattering and restricting the villains enough, while Phantom Thief uses the Warp Gates to suck everyone in at the same time.

A PLF warrior and Hero face off against each other, with the former asking how much money they spent on all of it and the latter adding that they even have a strategy to counter Decay, declaring they'll all be scattered to the winds. As the heroes begin to enter their respective Warp Gates, Deku is suddenly caught off guard by a whip, forcefully dragging him into a separate Gate, to his and Dynamight's confusion.

With nearly everyone warped, All Might orders Fat Gum in command to capture the remaining threats and to watch over Can't Stop Twinkling, who he then proceeds to praise for his bluff. All Might tells Phantom Thief to regroup with Eraser Head as now that the separation is successful, they can begin Phase 2.

At the ruins of the Gunga Mountain Villa, Endeavor and a squad of Heroes corner All For One and a group of villains, with Hawks attempting to strike All For One straight in the head with his Quirk, but failing to get through his mask. Endeavor states that they recognized All For One's Warping Quirk from the Kamino Incident, and could tell it was inferior to Kurogiri's Warp Gate, taking it all into account when they built the U.A. Barrier, and that his hubris will now lead to his downfall.

Toga's Trap

Himiko throws a wrench into the Heroes plan.

All For One mocks the heroes' plan to split them up, pointing out that dividing their forces due to the decline in heroes was necessary, while also noting the supposed ill-fated decision to pit "One For All" against Tomura, and worst of all to have Shoto face off against Dabi, with All For One criticizing Endeavor for having his youngest son clean up his mess, and continuing the abuse toward the oldest.

Meanwhile, at a now floating U.A. High, Tomura is warped into the enclosed structure, as Dynamight warns Best Jeanist that something went wrong and Deku isn't there. Elsewhere, Deku was warped to an aquarium, alongside Uravity and Froppy, by Himiko using her whip. Uravity is shocked why he's here, while Deku is confused that his Danger Sense didn't even activate, staring down Himiko.

Author's Comment[]

My bishojo figure collection is a little embarrassing, so I keep it in my refrigerator. The lighting is good.

Trivia[]

  • The location and design of the floating U.A. High shares distinct similarities to the city of Sokovia from the climax of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
  • When Deku gets dragged to Okuto Island, Himiko wraps her cord around her pinky finger. This might be a reference to the red thread of fate, an invisible red string in Asian mythology that connects fated lovers together by their pinkies.
