Tamashiro (ēŽ‰ (ćŸć¾) 城 (恗悍) Tamashiro?) is a student from Masegaki Primary School.

Appearance[]

Tamashiro is a small boy with dark marks around his brown eyes and messy, blond hair. He also has sharp, pointed teeth.

Personality[]

Tamashiro has an arrogant, boisterous, and somewhat rebellious personality, though he aspires to become a hero. Though stand-offish, he has a playful and humane side and is willing to help others out. He also has a lot of pride and enthusiasm in the strength and speed of his Quirk. This pride has given him a bloated sense of ego, causing him to point others out for their mistakes and their attitudes similar to that of Katsuki Bakugo.

Synopsis[]

Remedial Course Arc[]

Tamashiro and his class were used as a test for Katsuki, Shoto Todoroki, Inasa Yoarashi, and Camie Utsushimi during their second try for a Provisional Hero License, since they failed their first exam due to being unable to socialize properly (aside from Camie).

Tamashiro and his class.

As Gang Orca announced their trial, Tamashiro and his classmates came rushing into the hall. Tamashiro joined in with his fellow classmates in punching a distracted Inasa.[1] After that, he is seen kicking around Katsuki's gauntlet despite Katsuki's shouts of warning about the danger of what Tamashiro is doing, stopping when his friend shows him a ball.

Later, when Inasa asks which of them wants to be a hero when they grow up, Tamashiro puts up is hand. While the wannabe heroes deliberate about how to handle the kids, Tamashiro states that he knows what's going from his parents, understanding that the kids are better than them, causing him and his classmates to start using their Quirks against the team.[2] He uses his Binging Balls to tear off the right side of Katsuki's mask, gloating at how strong and quick his Quirk is.[3]

Once Katsuki, Shoto, Inasa, and Camie combine their Quirks to win over the kids, Tamashiro is seen enjoying himself on the slide Shoto created, while his peers question why he and few others get all the fun.[4] After the test is over, Tamashiro states that his Quirk is useful for the cleanup, which Shoto tells him he would be great at urban disaster rescue efforts, which pleases Tamashiro. At the end of the day, he joins with his classmates to thank the heroes.[5]

Paranormal Liberation War Arc[]

In the aftermath of the Paranormal Liberation War, between the immense destruction left behind, the escape of a lot of Villains, and Dabi's confessional exposing Endeavor's past, people start to lose their faith in Heroes, wondering how they are going to respond. Despite this, Tamashiro and his friends remain optimistic, believing Shoto and them can handle anything.[6]

Final War Arc[]

Sometime later as a result of the fall of hero society, the Masegaki Primary School students and faculty went to U.A. for shelter. As the Heroes prepared for the Final War against the Villains, all of the civilians protected within U.A. are escorted into the Underground Evacuation Center that travels between U.A. and Shiketsu High once the battles begin. Komari is watching the Masegaki students, warning them about the potential danger from a Villain, but Tamashiro and his friends say it's okay because there's no way Shoto, Katsuki, or the others will lose the battle.[7]

Sometime afterwards, the people in the block, including the elementary school kids, watch on their tablet the live broadcasts of the battles against Tomura Shigaraki and All For One. The kids start to worry after seeing the Heroes' brutal defeat by All For One's hands, only to be caught off guard when the moving segment suddenly stops and the lights go out.[8] The foundations begin to be disrupted by All For One's spies, causing the block to crumble apart. The Heroes order an immediate evacuation to the surface, where U.A. robots are waiting to take them to wherever they need to go. Outside, the kids and all the civilians bare witness to the intense heat caused by Dabi's Blueflames, who is on the verge of creating a nuclear explosion to take everyone around him down.[9]

Aboard one of U.A.'s robots evacuating the blast zone, Komari tells the students everything will be alright, while her students were continuing to watch the live broadcast on their tablet. Tamashiro happily agrees because he and his classmates know they still got Shoto, as they watch him and Tenya streaking their way across the landscape to save the day.[10] True to his words, Tamashiro and the rest of the students watch as Shoto arrives in time and successfully stops the explosion by consuming the inferno in his ice, causing the fire to dissipate and burn out. Tamashiro and the others cried in relief as they watched the skies clear up.[11]

They then continued to watch the rest of the live broadcasts, including the battle between All Might and All For One. [12] After All Might was defeated by All For One, the villain drags him over to U.A. so the world can watch as he kills the Symbol of Peace. Tamashiro and everyone around the world can only watch in fear and anxiousness, believing that his death now will mark the end of an era,[13] and as they all silently pray for someone to save him, Katsuki successfully steals him back from All For One's hands.[14]

Abilities[]

Quirk[]

Binging Ball (ęš“é£Ÿé‚ (ćƒ“ćƒ³ć‚øćƒ³ćƒœćƒ¼ćƒ«) Binjinbōru?): Tamashiro's Quirk allows him to create small, floating black orbs with shark-like mouths. The orbs have sharp teeth and can eat through substances, such as ice, at high speeds.[15]

This Quirk has been described as being good for cleaning and has the potential to be useful in disaster rescue.[5]
