Samidare Asui (
Appearance[]
Samidare has black hair that obscures his right eye, dark green eyes that are seen half closed, and a frog like appearance. He has blush marks on his cheeks inherited from his mother.
Personality[]
He appears to be laidback judging from his body language. He can also be casual sometimes, like when he asked Tsuyu if dinner was ready, and she replied in a minute.
History[]
Samidere and the Asui Froggy Family.
Samadire is the youngest son in the Asui family and the second youngest sibling of Tsuyu.
Whenever Tsuyu's mother, Beru and father, Ganma had to travel for work, Tsuyu would be the one to gave them little time to raise their young children. Tsuyu was left with the responsibilities of raising the brother, Samidare and Satsuki Asui, such as making dinner for them. While watching an interview of All Might, he asks Tsuyu if dinner is almost ready, and the older sister replied in about a minute. Although it was tough raising her younger siblings, Tsuyu still found her life to be wonderful.[1]
Final War Arc[]
In the aftermath of the Paranormal Liberation War, widespread chaos has destroyed society, plunging the whole country into total disarray. As the result of this, The Asui family was forced to move into a evacuation center for safety while the oldest daughter, Tsuyu, heads out to join the Heroes in the Final War against an army of villains led by All For One.
As he and his family stays in the evacuation center, he and his family watched the live broadcast of the war, particularly the final battle between Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki. The Asui family watches their oldest daughter with astonishment as she and Mezo Shoji help Izuku get through "All For One''s horde of attacks to the villain while the younger siblings all cheer for her.[2]

- Samidare's kanji in his name means "Early May rain".
- His name is also similar to the pronunciation and spelling of "Salamander", the name of an amphibian. This goes along with his family's froggy theme.
- Although his anime appearance debut was in the OVA, My Hero Academia - Training of the Dead, and his manga appearance was in the bonus chapter, his official manga debut was in Chapter 422.
