That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Chronicles転生したらスライムだった件 テンペストストーリーズ, tensei shitara suraimu datta ken tenpesuto sutōrīzu, Japanese: "Regarding Reincarnated to Slime: Tempest Stories"」 is a game developed by ZOC Co and MONKEYCRAFT and published by Bandai Namco.[1] It features mixed gameplay split between 3D city building and 2D fighting, with characters and story from across the franchise in addition to original content.

Gameplay[]

Battle[]

ISEKAI Chronicles features an action packed 2D battle system, allowing the player to select a team of fighters from their unlocked roster and fight against various enemies from across the series as they experience the game's story mode. This includes fully animated finishing moves that allow the player to experience attacks straight from the show.

In addition, as the the player's bond level with their characters increases, Rimuru becomes able to use special moves related to them in combat.

City Building[]

ISEKAI Chronicles allows players to build and customize their own Rimuru City from the ground up, using gold to build and upgrade buildings on vacant lots. The buildings provide various stat increases to the strengthen the player's units, while the city itself will be upgraded and expanded as the story progresses.

The player is able to roam around the city by controlling Rimuru in both their slime form and human form, allowing them to roam the streets and interact with various characters around town as well as solving the problems of it's residents.

Story[]

ISEKAI Chronicles allows the player to experience the original story of Tensura from the start, all the way up to the battle against Falmuth and Rimuru's ascension to a Demon Lord. In addition to this, there are currently two announced brand new stories written by the original author Fuse. The two stories are the "Goblin Revenge Arc" and the "Religious Nation Arc", which feature all new original characters designed by series character designer Mitz Vah.

Season 1[]

The first season of downloadable content will be released in three batches, each containing a single new playable character in addition to new quests and buildings.

DLC 1[]

The first DLC includes the playable character Hinata Sakaguchi in addition to the new scenario "A Strange Fate", 10 Sub-quests, and 7 new buildings.

DLC 2[]

The second DLC's playable character is currently unannounced. It features 1 new mode, 5 Sub-quests, and 7 new buildings.

DLC 3[]

The third DLC's playable character is currently unannounced. It features 1 new mode, 4 Sub-quests, and 5 new buildings.

Bonus Editions[]

Pre-order Bonus[]

For pre-ording the game, players will receive 3000GD to upgrade buildings and 3000GP to level up their characters. In addition, they will have access to the buildings "Rimu-Burger" and "Charymuru" earlier than through normal gameplay.

The Limited Box Edition is a physical box collection of the game. By purchasing it player's will receive a physical copy of the game, a blu-ray copy of "Nazotoki Mystery: Tempest Immigration Puzzle", a booklet containing the official setting materials, and a novel written by the original author titled "Talk about Japan with Shizu-sensei". In addition, player's will also get a special acrylic stand featuring art of Rimuru and a limited-time code allowing them access to the "Memorial Statue" and "Shopping" sub-quest collections.
