Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Wiki

The Sorcerous Dynasty of Sarion魔導王朝サリオン, madō ōchō sarion is a nation founded by elves and is composed of 13 kingdoms that all swear absolute fealty to Emperor Elmesia. Its capital, Elmine, is built directly into the gigantic Divine Tree.

Overview[]

The history of Sarion goes back 2000 years to when Milim Nava destroyed the Ultra-Sorcery Kingdom that housed the elves of that era. The elves that chose to forsake the Princess followed what remained of the elven nobility and formed thirteen kingdoms that were in a constant contest for superiority. Eventually Elmesia, the direct descendant of the ancestor of the elves, came forward to consolidate the various kingdoms into an empire with Elmesia as it's Emperor.

The Thirteen Kingdoms remain more or less autonomous and are free to decide their own policies and engage in their own trade, with Ellis Grimwald being appointed as their overseer. However they are not allowed to host a military, with all military forces instead being controlled entirely by the emperor. The kingdoms have no obligation or authority to meddle in each other's affairs and continue to try and one-up each other, with the emperor being the one who has to step in to quell them when their disputes get out of hand.

The Sorcerer's Dynasty Sarion does not have a national religion, instead the Emperor claims to be a descendant of god and forbids all other religions. Because of this they were rejected from being a part of the Council of the West, making them an isolated superpower. However, they maintain commercial relations with other nations, most notably Dwargon, El Dorado, and Ulgracia.

Products[]

Magic-Science[]

Perhaps Sarion's most notable scientific achievement is Magic-Science. Magic-Science is a field of study originally created by the Empress Dowager and uses Aspectual magic to alter pre-existing natural phenomena. To even understand the basic theory of magic-science requires a mastery of the principles of Aspectual magic and intense study. The widespread practice of Magic-Science within Sarion is a testament to the amount of powerful mages within the country.

Homunculus[]

One of the most marvelous products manufactured by their country are their Homunculi. With it they are capable of imbuing their spirit into disposable but highly realistic fake bodies. Their existence is something of an open secret and they're most commonly used by the nobility and rich as a safety measure when travelling abroad. Yuuki Kagurazaka was somehow able to have one tailor made as a replacement body for Kagali, implying that they're offered for sale to high profile foreigners or that they have some vested interest in either him or Kagali. Erald Grimwald was noted to also have easy access to his nation's Homunculus, with him typically using one when he is required to travel outside his country on official business by possess a human homunculus as a additional form of security, as this allows him to hide his elven heritage from slavers, hide his identity and protect his actual body, as his soul can simply return to it should his homunculus body be injured or killed. As implied by Erald, its possibly imperial protocol for any high ranked noble to use a homunculus body when traveling abroad, as shown where he insisted that Empress Elmesia use one the next time she visits Tempest for her safety and their nation’s security.

Foreign Relations[]

Armed Nation of Dwargon[]

Due to friendship between the Empress Dowager and the founding king of Dwargon Guran Dwargo, the relationship between the two countries has always been rather close. They maintain trade policies and friendship with each other, although it seems they don't meet with the Emperor very often.

Council of the West[]

The Sorcerous Dynasty of Sarion does not have a national religion as the Emperor claims to be a descendant of god. Thus, they were rejected from being a part of the council.

El Dorado[]

The Emperor and El Dorado's King Leon Cromwell have a close personal relationship that goes back to even before Leon was a Chosen hero. The Emperor personally helped finance the construction of El Dorado and Sarion exports supplies to them in exchange for part of it's vast supply of volcanic gold.

Jura-Tempest Federation[]

After the Human-Monster Conference that took place in Tempest, Sarion decided to openly recognize Tempest as a sovereign state, in addition to pursuing diplomacy with them. They have technological exchanges and the researchers from Sarion helped in developing the magitrain.

Republic of Ulgracia[]

Sorcerer's Dynasty Sarion is a nation where Aspectual magic is dominant, in contrast to the Republic of Ulgracia where Elemental magic is mainstream. For these reasons, they trade with each other often and build off of each other in a competitive relationship.

Puppet Nation of Jistav[]

Through ancient history, the Sorcerous Dynasty of Sarion shares an ancestral connection with the Puppet Nation of Jistav. After the catastrophe of where the original elven kingdom was annihilated by the wrath of Demon Lord Milim Nava, a portion of the elven nobility had chosen to abandon the last surviving royal of their original homeland, eventually forming their own individual kingdoms that then united into the current Sorcerous Dynasty of Sarion. The remaining elves who chose to remain loyal to the Princess, followed her and eventually established the Puppet Nation of Jistav, becoming the dark elves.
