Appearance[]

She looked like a petite young girl at the age of 10 with smooth blond hair and pink eyes akin to her pink lips. She looked similar to her late grandmother Maria.

Personality[]

She had a very greedy personality and was very rational in her decision making. She was notorious for manipulating many people's "desires" for her own ends. She was very confident in her abilities and had a superiority complex.

Due to her avaricious personality, inherited memories and knowledge from her previous world on advanced economics and her own circumstances of not really facing a genuine threat in her second life, Mariabell was shown to have become completely overconfident and arrogant in her approach to the other natives of the world, as seen where she possessed complete and utter faith and belief that her Unique skill, Greed could allow her to completely dominate and defeat anyone and resulted in her making several strategical errors in her plan to confront Rimuru Tempest due to believing that her overall power could easily defeat a true demon lord of Octagram, due to believing the overall power level of a Demon Lord was only equal to that of a demon lord seed.

This also resulted in her severely underestimating her "pawns" such as Yuuki Kagurazaka, due to believing that her "Greed" was powerful enough to dominate him that later resulted in her defeat and her skill being taken from her.

Background[]

Mariabell was an Otherworlder. who died and got reincarnated here as a new person carrying her memory of the previous world.^[1] She recalled that her former self was a ruler that dominated Europe.

She is the princess of Kingdom of Siltrosso, a small constituent nation of the western alliance north of the Kingdom of Falmuth. The Royal family of Siltrosso is called the Rosso family and it built its strong roots in the Western Nations and owns all authority. The members of their family had a hand in every powerful nation, including the likes of Falmuth and Englassia. It was also their family's contributions that led to the creation of the Western States Council. To the outside world, it appears that the Council elects its members from every nation. But they are, in fact, mostly members of the Rosso family. And their increased presence grants them enough prestige to surpass powerful nations. Yuuki Kagurazaka's funds to found the Freedom Association also came from the Rossos. If anything, these elders could be considered the rulers of the Western Nations and their leader is Granbell. Dominating the human world through the economy, that is the ultimate goal of the Rosso family.

Mariabell was known as a financial genius in her past life. She had the memories of her past life and an intense desire to dominate. These all fueled Mariabell's power: her Unique skill "Greed." The Unique skill "Greed" originated from the seven original sins of man. It belonged to the Skill type known as the "Deadly Sins." These were a special presence even among Unique skills, as they represented the desire of their users. The users' emotions and wishes manifested in the form of their Skills.

In fact, Mariabell was born to be the strongest among the Rosso. The power to dominate human desire—that was the ability of the "Greed."
