Frey to Clayman, The Octagram SoarsFrey ｢フレイ, furei｣ is a former member of the defunct Ten Great Demon Lords and a subordinate of Demon Lord Milim Nava.
Appearance[]
As a harpy, Frey has wings on her back and talons as feet. She has white hair and is usually seen wearing a red dress.
She can hide her talons to have human like legs in place.
Personality[]
Frey is careful and cunning. Together with Milim, they easily outwitted Clayman by making him believe he had control over them, and even had him convinced that Carrion was dead, with the goal of unraveling the identities of the ones pulling his strings.
Despite having the title of a Demon Lord, Frey is not arrogant and instead she's shown to be humble, admitting she feels not strong enough to be one of the Demon Lords and resigned her position becoming Milim's subordinate. She is also kind and friendly with Milim, showing a maternal side with Milim and deeply cares for her.
Background[]
Unknown to Frey herself, she was born with an Older Twin sister, Nazim, who was a unique mutant among their race. However, unlike her, she was born infertile and as such deemed as unworthy queen candidate by their people despite having the same inborn potential of power like Frey. This resulted in the Harpy Queen of that time banishing Nazim.
As admitted by Frey, during her time growing up she had a somewhat distant relationship with her mother, having never truly felt that she received any motherly love from her. Eventually, Frey herself would end up killing her in order to take her place as the Harpy Queen.
Frey was one of the other survivors of the Great Tenma War. She became an appointed Demon Lord around the same time as Clayman and Carrion, and as such, was regarded as one of the youngest of the Ten Great Demon Lords. Like the peers of her generation, due to the older Demon Lords not taking much of an active stance, Frey became one of the most active Demon Lords in her efforts to increase her personal power base to bridge the gap between herself and the older generation of Demon Lords, and as such, is one of the most well known Demon Lords across the world for her exploits and power.
Frey herself established her own kingdom and is the queen of Harpies and other winged creatures of the world. She was initially not involved in Clayman's plan of making a new puppet Demon Lord but later on chose to join in order to boost her own influence.
One of Frey's harpy priestesses had prophesized the revival of a long-past calamity, harpies' natural enemy, Charybdis, who was sealed away by a Chosen hero.
Trivia[]
- As a Queen-type among the largely female populated Harpy race, Frey has the ability to reproduce through Parthenogenesis or Virgin Birth, where she is able to have children without the need of a partner.
