Episode I Racer[]

Hello, Clonehunter! I see that you've been uploading pictures from Star Wars Episode I: Racer, which is a real good thing since no one else seems to still own that game.  ;-) I wanted to ask you two things about that. First, I'd like to know if you also possess the Star Wars: Episode I Racer: Prima's Official Strategy Guide. Secondly, I wanted to know if you could upload a better version of Ten-Abu Donba's pic. Regards. --LelalMekha (talk) 11:04, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

RE: Bullseye Navior[]

Hey Clonehunter, My guess is that the source of that comes from the Prima Strategy guides or something along those lines, I feel as though it would be wrong to just remove the information without any reasoning. I just was hoping there was a source of some sort somewhere for the crash. Thoughts? Anju Vena KDY (Nihilus Speak) 22:24, July 17, 2013 (UTC)

Fan fiction limit[]

Dialog-error

Your fan fiction is over 250 words long.

Your userpage currently breaches the officially adopted limit of 250 words for fanon works. Please trim it down to an appropriate length over the next two weeks, or steps will be taken.

You may find that the Star Wars Fanon Wiki is more suited to your fanoneering needs.

Please be aware that if you refuse to comply, you may be blocked from editing in the future for a fanon word limit breach.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you. CC7567 (talk) 22:17, August 15, 2013 (UTC)

"This" vs "A"[]

Hi, Clonehunter. In general, we prefer "A" to be used rather than "this." You're right that some older GAs use this, and we try to correct them to the preferred usage when we find them. On a similar note, the word "unidentified" should never be used in the article intro or body at all. Instead of "A unidentified male/female blank did this and that during then," it should be "A male/female blank did this and that during then." Hope that helps. - Sir Cavalier of OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 07:05, August 29, 2013 (UTC)

GAN[]

Hello, Clonehunter. Please be aware that nominators are restricted to four nominations on the GAN page at one time. You now currently have five, so please refrain from adding any more until your other nominations are removed as either successful or unsuccessful. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 05:29, October 10, 2013 (UTC)

Kam Nale[]

I have a very good image of Elan Mak from Star Wars Kids that would work well, and look much better in the article that that very pixelated headshot from Episode I Racer gameboy version. Would you like me to upload it and replace the Ep I Racer image for you? - JMAS Jolly Trooper Hey, it's me! 23:16, October 10, 2013 (UTC)

  • Sorry for not reading your big red text. Sure, go ahead. I was just trying to add some image diversity by using the Gameboy headshot. But if you got something good lets see it. Does SWK say anything else about Nale that's not already in the article? --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 03:09, October 11, 2013 (UTC)
    • Also, what issue of SWK is that from? --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 14:20, October 17, 2013 (UTC)

Race course[]

I fail to see the meaning behind "c'mon now". Clonehunter, articles that do not have appearances and/or sources will receive the {{Verify}} tag. It is not my responsibly to clean up after you. Please keep this in mind in the future. JangFett (Talk) 15:35, October 23, 2013 (UTC)

  • Sorry, didn't realize that a general page such as that was entirely my responsibility. I figured someone else could of at least added a few if they came across it and saw it had none. People rushed in for Belt however. Granted, I could've added some starters myself. But I didn't. It's no one's responsibility to clean up after anyone, I'm glad you see that. I put those expansion tags in hopes that someone could fill them in as I didn't have the time at that moment. I could've added some maybe, but it doesn't take much for someone else to expand on it either. No one has too mind you. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 21:06, October 23, 2013 (UTC)
    • Just remember: if you create an article, you should add appearances and/or sources. JangFett (Talk) 22:20, October 23, 2013 (UTC)
      • Alright, I'll do my best to do that in the future. If I don't have the time, I shouldn't publish the page. I'm sorry. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 22:58, October 23, 2013 (UTC)
        • No worries and I apologize if I sounded a bit rough. JangFett (Talk) 00:25, October 24, 2013 (UTC)
          • Be sure to properly link the source here. It's important to know since it's proper formatting. It's not The Phantom Menace, it's Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace JangFett (Talk) 23:06, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
            • Sorry 'bout that. Fixed now. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 23:07, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
              • Np and since you're writing articles now, add this to your monobook css: a.mw-redirect {color:darkorange}. It helps to identify redirects. JangFett (Talk) 23:09, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
                • No, I see redirects thanks to preferences. I was just being lazy. I'll add it anyways though, I suppose. Also best I fix the rest then...--Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 23:11, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
                  • That will be redundant then. No need to have that css then. Also, don't be lazy when you're formatting. ;) JangFett (Talk) 23:12, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
                    • Though, isn't there a way to identify when there are multiple links to the same page? I checked it off in Preferences I thought, but nothing seemed to change. If you don't mind me asking. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 23:14, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
                      • Links to a page or links in a page (as in double links). JangFett (Talk) 23:26, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
                        • Double links. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 00:32, November 13, 2013 (UTC)
                          • What you can do is look and edit an article thoroughly. I don't use a tool to check for linking since you can go through the article (starting with the intro) and then proceed to the body. If you can't find double links with your own eye, you can always use Word or any other editing program to search for links. That's recommended too. JangFett (Talk) 19:29, November 25, 2013 (UTC)
                    • I randomly saw this while coming by here to leave you a different message. :) Unlike the orange redirects, the duplicate links tool is not automatic as it relies on JavaScript instead of CSS. Assuming that you're using Monobook, on the left side of the page you'll see a link in the toolbox section (under the search box) that says "Highlight duplicate links". If using the default skin, it's on the bottom bar under "My Tools". You have to click that to run a script that places a red box around all duplicate links. Hopefully now you'll be able to get some use out of it. :) —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers 06:37, January 1, 2014 (UTC)

Rodian[]

If you're planning on nominating Unidentified Rodian with jacket, I'm going to save you from humiliation (and I don't mean this in a discouraging way). Most of the text you've added is fluff. The paragraph about Anakin and Padme can be removed, the extended context of the Clone Wars needs to be either shorten or removed, the bit about Hypori needs to go because we sadly do not know the order of the episodes now because of the new Clone Wars stuff. Concentrate only on the Rodian and I bet you it will be less than 200 words. Though I am glad to see that the article finally received an expansion. JangFett (Talk) 21:10, November 2, 2013 (UTC)

  • Nah, I don't think it was going anywhere. I humored the thought for a bit though. The non sequential order of events though definitely put a spur on things. Who knows though. Would probably make a decent comp article in the future after some modifications. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 21:15, November 2, 2013 (UTC)

Podracer[]

Unless a source says "Podracer/Podracing" in a sentence, I'm afraid that the terms podracer and podracing needs to be uncapitalized. It's a profession and professions, depending on various job titles, aren't meant to be dignified with a capital letter. I'm a podracer is the same as saying I'm a teacher or I work as a computer scientist, not I'm a Teacher, ect. Does that make sense? From a grammatical standpoint, "podracer," and "podracing," is correct. JangFett (Talk) 19:24, November 25, 2013 (UTC)

  • How about the current Star Wars Encyc? Every time the word comes up it's capitalized when referencing the race, pilots, and the vehicle(s) itself. Unless I misunderstood something. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 22:24, November 25, 2013 (UTC)
    • Then you have a source. ;) Carry on. JangFett (Talk) 22:29, November 25, 2013 (UTC)
      • Thank you~ And hey, Podracing is serious biz --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 22:38, November 25, 2013 (UTC)

Racer Revenge images[]

Hi there! I recently noticed you uploaded many high-resolution pictures from Racer Revenge. I have uploaded many images too, especially for locations shown in the game, but since I don't have the game, I had to screenshoot a YouTube video, which means they have a horrible quality. When/if you have the time and will, it would be very much appreciated if you could improve the quality of these images (one of which, by the way, is being used in one of your GA noms). They can be found here. Cheers and good work! Stake black msg 15:06, November 29, 2013 (UTC)

Santiago[]

Hello Clonehunter, Santiago turns out to be 201 words, meaning it needs to be sectioned, and most likely end up GA length. Just wanted to let you know. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 02:40, February 10, 2014 (UTC)

  • (Meant to post this here. I don't know if you can delete on your own page) Alright, I think I missed the 200 word limit for sectioning and what not. I was looking back through them and was wondering who else. I'll see what I can do then. Thanks for the heads up! --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 18:42, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
    • That was the only article that I could find above the limit of the ones you listed on your Admiral CAN. I actually think that sectioning would still keep both Admiral and Santiago at CA length, as the only thing worth mentioning in the intro is that they were soldiers. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 21:44, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
      • Well Admiral has certainly become an issue now. There's one or two multiplayer only characters left (Cybot and... Trainer, I think his name is). Neither has the ability to turn into a debacle (Especially Trainer, who does not have a game personality as he only appears in DF2), so I'm just making a note to myself here. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 16:30, February 13, 2014 (UTC)

Databank link[]

Hey Clonehunter. Regarding this edit, the {{SW}} template was used in the period of time between the creation of the new Databank and the creation of a Wookieepedia template specific to the new Databank. In that time, we were using {{SW}}, knowing that it'd eventually be replaced with {{Databank}} (when relevant). Thanks for changing that on Cody! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 19:40, August 14, 2014 (UTC)

Episode I Racer Prima's Guide[]

Hey, Clonehunter. I know you have the Episode I Racer Prima's Guide. Assuming you have the original N64 version, can you tell me which cover you have for that? I just noticed that I have a different cover than this one. Mine actually has Anakin's Podracer featured rather than Sebulba's (basically the same as this one, only this isn't the Dreamcast version), so I'm wondering if mine is like an alternate cover or something. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 18:35, January 26, 2016 (UTC)

  • My Prima guide does not specify a platform, and does not offer information on controller schemes for either the PC or the Dreamcast. It features the same cover as this one, minus the purple blurb in the lower corner. Instead, it just says "Maps of Every Course!" with the author's name underneath. I've never seen the Sebulba one before, other than on this site. Interestingly the Prima "N64 Guide" lists Alex Neuse as the author, whereas the other one doesn't have a specific author listed. Regardless, my copy does not look like any of the ones listed on Amazon or Wookieepedia, but it do like these ones on eBay. The Amazon listing for the supposed Prima N64 guide also has this fairly interesting note in a review: "Only a few pages are specific to Nintendo, while most apply also to PC game players." The Prima guide I have says nothing of the N64, but the actual Nintendo Player's Guide does only have a few pages that are specific to the N64, while the rest could be seen as information for any version of the game. However, the Nintendo Guide has its own Amazon page. There's also a set of oddly expensive guides on Amazon. Does your copy have any blurbs on the cover? Author's name? We may actually be looking at early, unused covers that got further than they should have in the marketing rings. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 19:17, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
    • It sounds like you have the same cover as I do for what I'm just referring to as the "original N64 version" (since N64 was the primary platform for the game and this version of the guide was published first). Ours is also the same cover you're showing me on eBay. It seems that Amazon is the only place showing this other cover with Sebulba's racer, which leads me to think that maybe that one is the weird alternate version and ours is the normal one. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:34, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
      • I'll probably end up buying these other versions to see what comes in. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 19:36, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
        • Since you say that, I actually bought my N64 version from Amazon with the Sebulba racer cover and it came with the Anakin racer. You could try asking the seller which cover they have. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:48, January 26, 2016 (UTC)

Warning[]

Consider this a formal administrative warning for the absolutely pitiful mess you made of the Magaloof, Leffingite, and Almak page linking. Not only did you ignore the new process for creating canon pages, you created a page without categories or Eras, and you abandoned the link change halfway through to pursue your own CAN, leaving numerous pages linking to the wrong pages. Do it again and there will be a reprisal. Cade GalacticRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit Calrayn 23:56, February 11, 2016 (UTC)

  • I was more so taking a break for a bit as I had to run. I came back, had a little time, and decided to pursue the CAN on a whim, and it had nothing to do with a "Favoring over." Other than that, my mistake I suppose for making a mess. However, it was less "purposely ignore" and more like "ignorance," as after a search through the editing FAQs looking for information on how to do this, the best answers I found was to simply do all the linking manually. If there's some order of bot systems, such information should not be abandoned in the forums where they can be easily glanced over. But have no fear, I won't do it again. I apologize for the mess, Cade. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 00:43, February 12, 2016 (UTC)

Neva Kee[]

Hi, just a quick question. Quite a while ago you edited Neva Kee's page stating that he appears in Star Wars Kinects podracing mode. I'm currently playing through this game, yet he doesnt appear to be a playable character, so i'm just curious about the source of this information or how to unlock him? Thanks :) --I.M (talk) 21:49, September 28, 2016 (UTC)

  • ok, i'll keep playing and hope he's a secret character like the M-Tag episode 3 Anakin pod. Having had a look around, i've seen Giant Bomb list him as being in the game, but there are no screenshots, maybe you saw this one? latest?cb=20060704210020

which is actually an early alpha screenshot of racer revenge. Can't find the concept art either. I did try checking the credits of the game, because of the in race voice actors used for each pilot, but it seems that none of these are listed. Closer examination and i have noticed that the in game pilot sounds are identical to those used in the original star wars racer, for example in the games cutscenes, i think its Jim Cummings (voice of the pirate Hondo) who voices Clegg Holdfast, speaking with a southern american accent speaking in basic, whereas in race, when you go past Clegg and/ or attack him, he's speaking in Huttese voiced by Dominic Armato (at least, it's 100% identical to the sound used in the original star wars racer, who was voiced by Dominic Armato). Boles Roor and Neva Kee shared the same voice actor in the original star wars racer, voiced by Peter Lurie, and the sounds of Boles Roor are also identical to those used in the original star wars racer, yet no credit is found for any of these voices ripped straight from that game. But yeah, to the point, the credits don't tell us if he is in the game (and doesn't mention the other pilots either outside the ones used in the cinematics). I'll keep playing and find out hopefully. Thanks anyway --I.M (talk) 13:13, October 3, 2016 (UTC)

  • Yup, this featurette is present on the third disc of the S3 Blu-ray. Garnac, Lo-Taren, and Dar were named created by George Lucas in the writers room. Krix, becase Filoni thought it sounded "lizardy". Clutch, like a clutch of eggs. Gilas is actually a dual homage to Angilas and The Giant Gila Monster. Filoni didn't named any after Godzilla because of they had already created the Zillo Beast. - Imperial Information Office AV-6R7Crew Pit 22:28, September 20, 2017 (UTC)
    • Its called Chewbacca Returns Easter Egg. - Imperial Information Office AV-6R7Crew Pit 23:42, September 20, 2017 (UTC)
  • I'll do you one better; here's the entire transcript: "With the Trandoshans, naming them was interesting. Garnac came from George, Lo-Taren came from George, young Dar came from George. Those were all names that were created at the writers' room. But for the rest of them, I named them all after kind of lizards or famous monsters that I knew. So, Smug is named after Smaug, the dragon from The Hobbit. Lagon, he is named after the Creature of the Black Lagoon. There's Ramy, which is just a rearranging of the letters to Mary Franklin's name. She is like the biggest Bossk fan out there, so I couldn't, I couldn't do this episode without naming a lizard after Mary. There's also Krix, just 'cause I liked Krix, I thought that sounded kinda lizardy. There's Clutch, clutch of eggs. There's Sochek, Sochek who's named after Walter Sobchak from The Big Lebowski, played by John Goodman. There was Gilas, and I named him after The Giant Gilas Monster, which is another, kinda retro B-movie. I didn't name any after Godzilla because we already have, you know, the Zillo Beast. Gilas is probably also, though, to be honest, named after Angilas, which is Godzilla's best friend. So, Angilas, Gilas, I'm sure that was another part of it for me, 'cause I love Anglias, who doesn't? Look it up if you don't know." - Imperial Information Office AV-6R7Crew Pit 23:15, October 14, 2017 (UTC)

  • I can help with this; the book dates "Witches of the Mist" and "Brothers" to 20 BBY; since "Padawan Lost" and "Wookiee Hunt" take place in between (chronological garbage here), they too must take place in 20 BBY. Also, the book dates the beginning of the Clone Wars to 22 BBY. - Imperial Information Office AV-6R7Crew Pit 02:31, October 16, 2017 (UTC)

Re: Lo-Taren (Oh, I guess)[]

Yeah, I rewatched the two episodes on Saturday actually and it makes sense now. As for the archive links, this seems to have done the trick.

And don't be afraid to renominate things! It happens to everyone and sometimes things can slip through without noticing. The FAN is lagging as it is so we're pretty fast to remove stale nominations. Hi, Clonehunter. Just letting you know I left a couple new objections on Krix. Hopefully we can get that thing off the page soon, finally. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:58, March 9, 2018 (UTC)

Krix[]

I think you need to revisit the referencing in Krix for this sentence: "These captured beings included the Snivvian Katt Mol,[1] the Terrelian Jango Jumper Lika,[3] the Selkath Morgo, and the Sakiyan Vadoo.[5]" I don't see anywhere in the "Padawan Lost" episode guide that mentions Lika's name or species, nor is Katt Mol's name mentioned in the episode. I believe all of that information needs to be referenced to the original episode guide. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 03:02, March 19, 2018 (UTC)

  • Lika's name is in the 6th panel of the Trivia section, but no her species isn't there. I'll change it. Katt Mol's name is in the credits. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 02:30, March 20, 2018 (UTC)

  • Yeah, sorry for not mentioning this earlier, I'm just going through any sources the Executor has appeared in (i.e., sources which are listed on the Executor's page), only considering those appearances which are firmly set before or after 3 ABY as impossible to feature the Qeimet system. Toy Dampner[]

Please go respond to your remaining objections on Toy Dampner by the end of the day (one of which will be past the 10-day idle period by then), or the nomination will likely be removed by the AgriCorps. Your remaining issues on that article are exceedingly simple, and frankly my patience is wearing thin on this one. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 14:23, August 16, 2018 (UTC)

  • Excuse me for not logging on everyday. My goal was to find time this weekend (Like now, given this is the first I'm seeing this) and thought I had time given there was still a day or so before the August 10th objection message was due up. Either I thought I had handled the earlier one, thought that the waiting period was based on the most recent objection, or I just forgot. Don't really know at this point. Doesn't really matter if I think about it. I'm just kinda angry at everything right now, myself included, since I kinda wanted this one done (And afterwards I wasn't planning on doing anything for a while anyways), but whatever now, I guess. Live and learn or something? Sure I guess. My TPM DVD is the 2007 release. Second disc is just Maul's face taking up the whole thing. Probably doesn't matter anyways now. Probably should have addressed that one when I first saw it last week. Eh. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 16:27, August 18, 2018 (UTC)
    • Your nomination was removed because it had an idle objection from August 6, which became eligible for removal after 10 days on August 16, the day I left you the message. As a courtesy, I gave you the rest of that day, and even half of the 17th, to respond to it, but you never did. This isn't a matter of you not logging in every day; this is a matter of you not paying attention to your objections for more than 10 days. You're welcome to feel any way you want about this, but there's no reason for you to be angry at the AgriCorps for carrying out our procedures as they're defined. At any rate, you're welcome to renominate the article any time you like. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 16:33, August 18, 2018 (UTC)
      • I'm not angry at AgriCorps. Like you said, and what I kinda said, I had failed to notice the objection from the 6th, or had assumed something or forgot something. Not totally sure. I'm not angry at you either. Sorry. I think I'm just gonna take a break for a bit. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 16:57, August 19, 2018 (UTC)

    • We could set a time tomorrow. I can try to be around maybe 3-5:00 PM CT? I have some early in the day stuff to attend too, but I'd hope to be done by 5 at the latest. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 04:19, September 23, 2018 (UTC)
      • I'm on now and will be until about 1:00 CT probably. Otherwise, I can try and catch you between 3-5 but can't make any promises. I should definitely be around beginning 8:30 this evening. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 15:49, September 23, 2018 (UTC)
        • My plans today have a changed a little but I'll try to pop in a few times today to see if you're around, though first there seems to be some IP issue. I don't use IRC often so I'm not sure what kind of issue this is outside of being blocked or something, so I was linked DroneBL to get this resolved, whatever it is. So I'll get when that's resolved. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 17:16, September 23, 2018 (UTC)

Kam Nale issues[]

Hi Clonehunter, seeing you are still active on this site, I wanted to point out some issues with the Kam Nale article. With last year's Mofference about the full citations for all behind the scenes, I see that the sentence about Emissaries to Malastare and Jedi Quest: The Dangerous Games only has one ref tag to the latter, and the same for the sentence about Podracing Tales and The Not-so Magnificent Seven. Also Podracing 101! needs to have a page creation, as all GAs and FAs now can't have redlinks. Please be sure to check your other articles to verify no other equivalent issues. Thanks.
