Speech bubbles[]

Hi Lelal. I noticed you tagged File:You got a lot of nerfs.png for deletion. However, WP:I#Cropping says bubbles should be left intact if the entire bubble is present in the scan. Of course, I accept your apology. I thank you for doing so. And I apologize for offending you as well, though I hope you understand that it was not my intention to. What I meant to convey was just that since you had already expressed a non-interest in defending the article, and since I didn't think it was that important to you, you could have been taking that time to work the information into the Battle of Endor article instead. And while I may be criticizing the article's creation and your reasons for trying to keep it, it's not meant personally. Anyways, no hard feelings. To answer your question, I still don't think that's reason enough for an article. The quoted material isn't really saying anything monumental, just that the first celebration following the Endor battle naturally took place...on Endor. I have a couple of different options I can upload. But I have to warn you, both images will be small and neither are very high quality because it is a moving shot, so the birds are in motion. One option is a little bigger, but blurrier - showing one of the birds off to the right of the screenshot. RE: Gaupas and ponies[]

Hi Lelal. Looking through the book again the sentence was "Pulgas, bordoks and gaupas are used for riding" so it seems my claim that it's used independently from pony is slightly misleading. Bordok have always been their own thing, but the reason I kept both guapa and pulga separate from pony is that in legends both terms were used to describe ponies and both are redirects to the pony legends page. As the book lists them as separate entities in canon and doesn't describe either as a pony, I didn't want to redirect either into pony, as they shouldn't both be and there's no clear evidence to pick one over the other. As such, while the BTS needs rewording on the guapa and pulga articles I would still suggest keeping both independent of the pony page. Ayrehead02 (talk) 10:11, October 24, 2016 (UTC)

• Ah, my mistake, looking back at the history of guapa and pulga it seems that the legends redirects actually both went to horse not pony. Why on earth I put pony in the BTS is beyond me, but I suppose the reasoning I gave above still applies. That being said you could be entirely right about guapa being pony since I'm only relying on our own article history which is by no means a reliable source. If you've found evidence from legends sources that suggests guapas were ponies then I'm perfectly happy for the pages to be merged. We actually seem to lack a canon horse page so I guess pulga can be left as it is, although the legends horse tab should maybe be moved from pony to pulga.   • Ok sounds good! To be honest I'd advocate for a separation of the legends page into two separate pages, but hopefully your search for guapas and pulgas will help in that regard. Hello Lelal, I was wondering if you could tell me something from Star Wars rebels magazine, if it's not too much trouble. Namely, if the Arquitens cruisers in The Gangsters of Galzez, A Day's Duty and Escaping the Scrap Pile are light cruisers or command cruisers. I ask because you seem to be one of the only people to make edits to the rebels magazine pages, and so I thought you likely have access to them. • This is amazing, thanks so much! I think I'll remove the appearance from 'Gangsters', as there are other types of Imperial cruiser. I'd say the ones in 'Day' is a light cruiser, as there are guns on the side. As for 'Escape', I'd say a command cruiser, simply because of the lack of guns on the side. You're right though, really tricky to tell. Mind you, that art is fab... I really should try to find more issues of these online. Ranks and Positions[]

Sure, that sounds great. What kind of thing are you thinking about. And I agree about the naming issue, but that also covers military ranks like "Major General." That should ideally be at "major general" and should only be capitalised when actually applied to an individual. The same with positions - chief engineer is the position, but an individual would be Chief Engineer Bob for example. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem there's a lot of people doing Let's Play videos of the entire Rebel campaign. Everyone seems focused on the Imperial faction's multiplayer. However, most of the early/middle missions are available on this Youtube playlist. I also have some screenshots of the dialogue for Chapter 11 The Battle of Tatooine. RE: Star Wars: Uprising" mentioned in BF II[]

Hey! Basically Iden and Del undertake a mission to Chinook Station on Bespin, during the mission you can hear stormtroopers talking, one says 'I hear the blockade is starting to crumble. Ships are breaking through all across the Anoat sector.' and then another replies 'This is Governor Adelhard's fault. He should have put down the uprising as soon as it began.' The only one I wasn't certain about was Uprising, do you reckon I should remove it from the appearances? • On a loading screen it mentions how a smuggler's uprising is lashing out against the Empire's oppressive Iron Blockade, then it also mentions that Bespin is home to Cloud City, Chinook Station and Ugnorgrad. RE:Alderaan[]

Hey, so I don't actually own it, I have a friend who sent me some pics fortunately. This is what I was able to find on Aldera and the Royal Palace

1) Aldera is known to be a scenic city that had a collection of "gleaming, rounded, white structures" that encompassed the city, which itself is located on a large island on a lake. It states that Aldera's star port is one of the best in the Core Worlds. The University of Alderaan is located there, along with its government. There are many academic, medical, and research institutions in the University that is sought by students and experts from across the galaxy. It also had skilled security forces that use non-lethal techniques that add on to Alderaan's reputation of a pacifist and peaceful world. People who prove to be difficult are not tolerated for long and constant criminals are detained or sent off world. This allowed for great cover for secretly escorting rebel ships without attracting the Empire.

2) The royal palace was also known as the Mountain Palace, which served as the Organa residence, a base of operations, and a political center. During the Clone Wars, representative from across the galaxy gathered there to go to conferences and conduct negotiations in regards to the refugee crisis and other issues. During the Empire, the palace served as a top secret meeting place for rebel leaders and agents. Because of that, security was important and not everyone living or working in the palace was aware of the rebel connections. The palace was also the most essential mountain retreat. Mountain retreats and palaces served as status symbols and defensible locations for the royal and wealthy, and were often built high in the mountains.

    • Hey so here's the info on Crevasse City and University of Alderaan

1) Crevasse City was the first and biggest of Alderaan's canyon cities that was built into the rock walls of an enormous canyon, concealing everything from dwellings to heavy industry, and its unusual structure and landscape made it a tourist spot, which included hotels and resorts. It didn't have a starport and instead relied on Aldera.

2) It doesn't really have much on the University of Alderaan except that Aldera was home to the renowned university that had many academic, medical, and research institutions that attracted experts and students from around the galaxy.

Hi Lelal, I happened to just stumble upon this website, which makes the claim that Agrippa Aldrete was "named after [University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Prof. Gregory] Aldrete and his beloved black Labrador retriever (named Agrippa, see here)." See if you consider "the official site for UW-Green Bay News and Features" reputable enough to make an attribution. Hi!

I recently placed the page for Sashin-leaf mead in the wine category. I understand you removed it from that category because meads are distinct from other wines. Meads are different from other wines, but are still considered a type of wine. In the same way that not all fruit are berries, but all berries are fruit you could say the same of wines and mead.

I'll leave it up to you to leave the page as is or re-add it to the wine category since I don't wish to step on any toes. I just like for things to be as organized as possible.

• Sure! So yeah, he was an NPC placed at a camp in the Agrilat Swamp on Corellia. He only gave one quest, which involved having the player kill another NPC named Yensi Kolyin. After completing the quest, he would award the player 750 credits (I typically include quest credit payout info in the BtS section, as I'm pretty sure it's game mechanics for the most part). Below is the quest dialogue. Just let me know if you have any questions (P= Player, D= Dalla, Y= Yensi):

D: Hey, pal. I'm looking for a new partner. But I just can't accept anyone. You gotta prove yourself first. My line of work ain't for the timid or the slow-witted. You seem pretty tough to me. Tell you what. If you can make one of my problems go away, I'll consider showing you the trade. You in?

P: What trade is this?

D: Piracy is what I'm talking about. Lots of money to be made in that business. But first that problem I was mentioning. You gonna help me take care of it?

P: Yes.

D: Nice. The problem's name is Yensi Kolyin and he's a Gran. He didn't have the stomach for the trade and now he wants out. I need you to retire him. I hope I've made myself clear.

(Player then sets off to the waypoint to find and kill Yensi)

Y: I knew Dalla the Black would send someone eventually. You are a fool to deal with that murderer.

(After successful killing Yensi, player returns to Dalla and receives 750 credit reward)

D: Not bad. But that Gran was pretty easy pickings. I'm not sure if you're trade material. Let me think about it some more. Now get out of here.

(This ends the quest. If the player attempts to speak to Dalla again, he utters the following dialogue)

D: Don't have anything else for you right now. But I liked your style. Check back now and again.

(Alternatively, if the player refuses to accept the quest by saying "No.", Dalla will utter the following dialogue.

• If I'm interpreting your actions as bad faith it's because a) I agree, you're smart enough to know it's unnecessary to create a talk page with Talkheader and then leave a message in a subsequent edit. The reason you state for doing that is unnecessary and doesn't need to be repeated; and b) The combination of you recreating the talk page with Talkheader five minutes after it was deleted it with an edit summary citing the specific policy why that shouldn't have been done, along with this in your talk-page message: "So. (I was writing this message when the talk page was deleted. Guess I'll have to make it shorter.)" comes off as just a little bit snarky. If I'm misinterpreting this situation, then I apologize. But I would nonetheless add that you can avoid this situation in the future by not adding Talkheader and your message in separate edits. You should also know well enough that our Recent changes patrollers, myself included, are hawk-eyed and lightning-quick, and we will pounce on something like this faster than you can type your talk-page message. "One of the most insidious methods the Emperor employs to maintain control of his Empire is to constantly pit his minions against one another. Typically, there have been around one hundred such extremely powerful and influential bureaucrats at any given time. Each is tasked not only with overseeing details of the Empire's administration, including vital decisions such as appointing new governors and Moffs, but also with conducting covert surveillance on the home systems of other advisors and high-ranking Imperial officers.

Most Imperial advisors operate on Coruscant, but their duties, tasks, and schemes frequently take them to far-flung places across the galaxy. None like to be away from the Emperor for too long, lest they lose influence to a rival or miss an important event. Some advisors are well-known public figures, while others work behind the scenes. Almost all advisors are strictly political operatives, not combatants. It's not known how many of them, if any, are aware of the Emperor's secret identity, but it is certain to be a very small number.

Using this character: Advisors may turn up anywhere the Emperor wants to investigate or project additional power or influence. Advisors may impress local officials by indificating Imperial interest in a location or event. They also strike fear into individuals who are worried about an investigation might reveal their actions, regardless of whether they have reason to do so. Advisorrs might be sent to observe major political or scientific events so that they may report them directly back to the Emperor. Advisors are cunning and manipulative. Huh interesting, I hadn't heard anything about that. I'd say that Master Fred would be the person to ask since he works there. If it's something the staff are allowed to tell people then we can treat it as canonical and use the "information available from staff" reference used on some of our articles. • So, the reason it was removed is because people kept gathering near the registers to see it (it was almost impossible to see from anywhere else), causing difficulties for the cast and other guests as people tried to check out. It was definitely more of a crowd flow issue and not a show issue. People loved the easter egg. That being said, I'm honestly not even sure where it's being identified as the Twi'lek Ark, as that isn't in the official show guide that we go by for the backstories, not to mention it doesn't match the physical depiction of the canonical Ark. First of all I just wanted to say that I really appreciate all of the work you've done on wookieepedia for fellow fans like me. I think notably your work on the culture and history of planet Naboo (I think notably to your articles on Naboo's religion, Naboo's senatorial delegation and Padmé Amidala's coronation) and of course your work on sith culture which is also the reason for why I'm contacting you.

Sorry to bother you with this but I had a few questions about sith language and I think only its creator, Ben Grossblatt, can answer them. I know you've contacted him before ( https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Sith_(language)/Ben_Grossblatt_email ) and I wondered if you could do it again.

It's been 8 years since the publication of Speak like a Sith and 6 years since the reboot. I think that if Lucasfilm had any intentions to publish the complete version one day they would have done it by now, therefore, since they aren't showing any sort of interest in it, I think Mr. Grossblatt can share his version without much concern, it won't be considered official anyway and he won't make any profit other than pleasing devoted fans of the old expanded universe and of the Sith such as myself. And if Joseph Bongiorno could share his work on Supernatural Encounters then I must ask why Mr. Grossblatt couldn't do the same with his work on the sith language ? It's something that I need to know and I would really appreciate if you could help me with this.

My questions are : what is the translation of the sith castes from Jen'ari and Jen'Jidai to Grothu in Grossblatt's sith language ? What's the name of Korriban/Moraband/Pesegam in Grossblatt's sith language ? What's the word for Qabbrat (sith meditation sphere) in Grossblatt's sith language ? And what's the Sith name of Typhojem ?

If you don't want to contact him directly I can perfectly understand but could you at least provide me with a way to contact him by myself ?

Porgs continually demonstrate "intelligent thought" in the movies, intelligent thought comes with sentience. Without the ability to think they wouldn't be able to avoid danger or mate. There is no official Star Wars reference to the sentience of Porgs. Sentience means the same thing in Star Wars as it does in real life. Unless you can provide evidence that clearly demonstrates that Porgs are not sentient in the Star Wars universe your edit is factually incorrect. Porgs are sentient beings. If a droid can be sentient, an ACTUAL LIVING BIRD is DEFINITELY SENTIENT. Thank you. Please edit your entry to reflect this fact.

That book isn't even canon. It came out long before 2015 and it's debatable if any of the visual guides are canon anyway since they often contradict each other. Show me a post-2015 explanation of sentience from the star wars canon. We are not discussing sapience. We are discussing sentience. Porgs, clearly, are sentient. You must reflect this reality in your edit. There is no such thing as a "Star Wars version" of what Sentience is. Sentience is sentience. If you can not provide evidence or canon reference material to back up your point, you are objectively wrong and therefore are obligated to make the necessary changes to the page.

I had completely forgotten about the ark. I'm off until Tuesday, but I'll try and check then. As for Bina's guide, I've been meaning to get around to uploading the tooke drawing. RE: The Helmet Collection[]

Hi Lelal. I am indeed trying to collect all of the Helmet Collection, although I'm picking up issues individually off ebay and still have quite a few more to get. Including stuff that I have coming in the post I'm probably at about a third at the moment? Hey Lelal! I noticed earlier you added the StarSpeeder as appearing in Episode 7. I just came across Star Tours Speeder which seems to be the referring to the same thing that was added onto StarSpeeder. As you made the Star Tours Speeder page, I just want to see what you think should be done? If they are the same thing, should they be merged together, or is one a type of the other etc? Hi Lelal, I provided some of the images for the blog post I saw you comment on Twitter. • Is there no alternative source you can use? If not, just put the magazine's name without a link. There is precedent for how we cite printed media (e.g. J'Quille). Look Snoke is anyway one of Palpatine's creations. That is to say he is a member of the family because Palpatine create him. In the episode 9 Palpatine said to Kylo ren that he was the one who made Snoke (and Rey's father as well). Moreover in Disney wiki there is an article about Snoke that says that Palpatine iss his creator in the category of his relatives and the other clones of Palpatine are his siblings. Could you also check Rule of Two? The math is wrong, but since i don't actually own the game and have never played it, i don't know which part to correct. 14+ Jedi Exiles?[]
