Nemec was a clone trooper who joined the clone resistance network founded by Clone Captain Rex. Nemec was part of a mission that conducted an attack on the prisoner transport ship alongside the defectors Gregor, Echo, and Fireball to rescue former Captain Howzer and two other clones.^[4]

Biography[]

Rebelling against the Empire[]

Nemec was created on the planet Kamino as a clone of the human bounty hunter Jango Fett^[1] to serve as a clone trooper in the Galactic Republic's clone army during the Clone Wars against the Separatist Alliance.^[7] After the conclusion of the Clone Wars and the formation of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY,^[8] Nemec would join rogue Clone Captain Rex's resistance network, the Clone Underground.^[4]

At some point in 18 BBY,^[9] Nemec would take part in a raid on an Imperial prisoner transport ship that was transporting disobedient clones to an Imperial facility on the planet Wayland. After boarding the vessel, Nemec battled through the ship's TK stormtrooper crew alongside Echo and eventually secured the vessel's bridge. Holding the transport's officer at gunpoint, Nemec demanded to know where the imprisoned clones were being transported to, but the Imperial officer instead bit down on an electro capsule, killing himself instantly. After extracting as much data as possible from the ship's databank, Nemec and the raiding party would flee the ship upon the arrival of an Imperial Venator-class Star Destroyer. As the prisoner transport was strafed and destroyed by a squadron of V-wing starfighters, Nemec and the other rogue clones jumped into hyperspace on their ship.^[4]

During a later time in the same year, Nemec accompanied Samson, Greer, Howzer, and Rex on a mission to Pantora to protect Senators Avi Singh and Riyo Chuchi while they held a meeting regarding former Republic and Separatist worlds' growing discontent with Emperor Palpatine and the Empire. Nemec was tasked with escorting Senator Singh to the meeting point, a tea parlor, alongside Rex.^[6]

Death[]

While accompanying Rex, Howzer, and the Bad Batch on Teth, Nemec was shot in the back by the Clone X trooper CX-2, killing him.^[3]

Personality and traits[]

As a genetic clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, Nemec had black hair, brown eyes, and tan skin.^[4] He stood at a height of 1.83 meters.^[1]

Equipment[]

Nemec was equipped in standard Phase II clone trooper armor that was dyed a tint of dark green. The visor of Nemec’s helmet was also green in coloration.^[6] He^[5] wore suspenders connecting to his belt over his armor and had an antenna attached on his back.^[6]
