Enfys Nest appearances

Attack on Imperial interrogator droids

Brandon - wanted to let you know that Attack on Imperial interrogator droids, which we both promoted to Good status, was placed on probation. I'm going to see what I can do to fix things up when I have the chance, but since you were the one who was mostly responsible for the improvements which helped to make it a Good article, I thought you should know as well. Personally, I think that there oughta be some sort of notification sent to the talk page of the original nominator when probation happens, but I suppose it is what it is.   • I think what Red Duel is asking Brandon is why the XS stock light freighter page uses the Leland Chee tweet but others aren't allowed too. The answer is still in that social media forum where Tope said 'However, this CT is the result of a discussion that began concerning whether that Notability policy clause should be repealed or loosened, which certainly deserves greater consideration. In the event this CT passes, we can explore doing that, which would likely mean allowing cases like XS stock light freighter to stay, at least as an unidentified article.' Now that the ship has been named in a source, the tweet can just be replaced with YT-1300 Millennium Falcon Owners' Workshop Manual --Lewisr (talk) 23:14, November 26, 2018 (UTC)

• Hey MecQueste. The Wookieepedia community decided long ago that they wanted to focus just on the encyclopedic aspect of a wiki, rather than including any social features. There's been a few exceptions—for example, blogs were enabled during Star Wars Celebration in order to cover the event—but on the whole Wookieepedia prefers to stick to wiki editing. - Brandon Rhea^(talk) 15:58, February 27, 2019 (UTC)

Using Jedi Bibliotek as a source

Hey, just a quick question. Another admin on here is telling me that we aren't allowed to use Jedi Bibliotek as a source. I am trying to use this source: https://jedi-bibliothek.de/2019/07/neue-buchcover-the-rise-of-skywalker for this image File:The Rise of Skywalker Visual Dictionary Cover.png. Is this fine? The reason I am wanting to source it there is so people know exactly where the high quality version of the image came from. The file is higher quality than the one posted on StarWars.com. • Hey Benjay. I'm not an admin, so I'm not in a position to overrule an admin's decision. In my opinion, though, I would agree with whichever admin said that. Jedi Bibliotek is a really helpful site, but it's still a fan site. That means it's not a primary source, so the source for your file would have to be wherever Jedi Bibliotek got it from. - Brandon Rhea^(talk) 01:55, July 22, 2019 (UTC)

Historically Wookieepedia hasn't made a consistent decision on how to treat post-2014 FFG material. I am of the opinion they are neither canon nor Legends, they are "no canon" in terms of continuity because they exist less to add to the overall Star Wars story and more to power fan role-play storytelling.
