"My wish is that readers find at least one practice to help them savor a moment. To experience it fully. Because mindfulness isn't about zoning out, it's about tuning in with all our attention. And to readers unfamiliar with mindfulness, my hope is that framing practices in the context of Star Wars will encourage them to take their first steps into a larger world."
―Amy Ratcliffe on The Jedi Mind[2]

Star Wars: The Jedi Mind is an canon self-help book on mindfulness basics and letting go. Written by Amy Ratcliffe with accompanying illustrations by Christina Chung, the book was published by Chronicle Books on November 10, 2020.[1]

Inspired by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn's meditation in the Force mid-combat, Ratcliffe's book connects the Jedi teachings of Star Wars by quote, character, or moment, to a real-life aspect of mindfulness on each page, where it includes a suggested practice for readers. The Jedi Mind takes from teachings of acceptance and letting go from the three film trilogies and the Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels TV series.[2]
