Publisher's summary [ ] The Outer Rim was, even in the days of the Galactic Empire, a huge region where it was relatively easy for a planet to go unnoticed, or even to become a coveted object of desire overnight. Few planets combined these two factors as uniquely as Bespin, where a mining facility that had first attracted colonists to the gas giant coincided with the luxurious Cloud City, an entertainment and leisure center filled with luxury hotels and casinos. The two factors were inextricably connected, and even the Empire itself had trouble subduing the planet's rulers. But the Outer Rim was also home to such disparate places as the swampy (and dangerous) Dagobah or the eerie planet Dathomir, home to the chilling Nightsisters. [1]
