Publisher's summary[]

Droids of every imaginable type existed in the galaxy, and it was only a matter of time before someone turned them into tools of war as well. From the fighter droids used by the Separatists during the Clone Wars, to the sentry droids that the First Order would use decades later as surveillance tools, many were the organizations that used them for war purposes. Often they were machines with almost no consciousness or intelligence; however, there were also droids capable of handling them or even piloting starships with the same expertise as an organic being. Some of these pilot droids would play very relevant roles in certain events on a galactic scale.^[2]

• The encyclopedia incorrectly identifies the ARC-170 starfighters that escorted a Rho-class transport shuttle carrying clone trooper CT-5385 during the Battle of Ringo Vinda as Clone Z-95 starfighters.
• The book incorrectly states that the Battle of Teth was fought just several standard days after the start of the Clone Wars, when it was at least several standard months.
• The book incorrectly states that Separatist Hyena-class Droid Fighter/Bombers destroyed other Separatist ships during the Battle of Scipio, when they were Galactic Republic ships.
