TJ-912 was a T-series military strategic analysis and tactics droid with feminine programming who served the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. At the Battle of Sullust, TJ-912 commanded a Recusant-class light destroyer in a fleet led by Separatist Commander Asajj Ventress. The tactical droid was contacted by Separatist leader Count Dooku during the battle, who instructed her to destroy the Separatist command ship Ventress was aboard after being ordered by his own master, Darth Sidious, to kill her. TJ-912 complied, destroying the cruiser although unaware that Ventress had managed to escape the ship.

TJ-912 was given new orders by Count Dooku during the Battle of Sullust.
Manufactured by Baktoid Combat Automata,[1] TJ-912 was a feminine-programmed[5] T-series military strategic analysis and tactics droid[2] who served in the naval forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars against the Galactic Republic. At the Battle of Sullust[5] in 20 BBY,[6] TJ-912 commanded a Recusant-class light destroyer as part of a fleet led by Separatist commander and Sith apprentice Asajj Ventress, who flew her[5] Ginivex-class fanblade starfighter[7] during the battle. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker engaged Ventress in their own fighter craft, an encounter which led to the three pilots landing in the main hangar of the Separatist command ship, where they dueled with their lightsabers.[5]
As the duel progressed, TJ-912 was contacted by Separatist leader and master of Ventress, Count Dooku, who had been instructed by his own master, Darth Sidious, to eliminate Ventress as a test of loyalty to the Dark Lord of the Sith. TJ-912 informed Dooku of Ventress's whereabouts and was then ordered by the count to destroy the Separatist flagship. While the[5] tactical droid[3] stated that doing so would result in the destruction of their forces as well as Ventress and the Jedi, Dooku confirmed that was the intended outcome, leading TJ-912 to order her own destroyer to open fire on the command ship once they were in position.[5]

TJ-912 orders the destruction of the Separatist flagship.
With the command ship sustaining heavy damage, TJ-912 contacted a Hyena-class Droid Bomber and instructed it to crash into the hangar where the Jedi and Ventress were. The craft exploded as it hit the hangar wall, prompting Ventress, Kenobi, and Skywalker to each return to their fighters and flee the ship, which they did immediately before the cruiser's complete destruction. TJ-912 contacted Dooku, informing the count that the ship was destroyed and, since the tactical droid was unaware of Ventress and the Jedi escaping, that their scanning showed there were no survivors. Her task seemingly complete, Dooku ordered TJ-912 to recall the fleet, which the droid acknowledged.[5]
Characteristics[]
- "Yes, my Lord. Ventress is battling the Jedi onboard the command ship."
"Turn your guns on our command ship and open fire!"
"But, my Lord, I calculate that will destroy Ventress, the Jedi, and all our forces."
"Precisely." - ―TJ-912 and Count Dooku
A T-series tactical droid, TJ-912 had feminine programming[5] and was 1.93 meters tall.[4] She had tan and red colored plating as well as yellow sensors. Although TJ-912 initially questioned Dooku's order to destroy their command ship, citing the destruction it would cause to their own forces, she was quick to comply once the count informed her he was aware of the fact.[5]
Behind the scenes[]
TJ-912 appeared in "Nightsisters,"[5] the twelfth episode of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' third season, which aired on January 7, 2011.[3] The droid was voiced by Cara Pifko, who also lent her voice to the character Naa'leth in the same episode. TJ-912's final line in the episode, "By your command,"[5] is a phrase uttered by the Cylons from the Battlestar Galactica franchise.[3] An unnamed tactical droid that appears in "Shadow Warrior"[8] from The Clone Wars' fourth season[9] reuses TJ-912's color scheme.[8]
