Baktoid Combat Automata, abbreviated BCA,^[3] was a manufacturer of battle droids, many of which saw use in the Separatist Droid Army.^[2] It was a sister company to Baktoid Armor Workshop, both of which were owned by the Techno Union.^[1] Baktoid Combat became an associated^[9] sister company to Baktoid Armor. Baktoid Combat also had its own subsidiary in Baktoid Fleet Ordnance.^[1]

Baktoid's factories on Geonosis and other planets built countless battle droids for the Separatists during the Clone Wars.^[2] After the Empire's takeover of Combat Automata, certain executives and leading engineers formed a corporation of their own, Baktoid Industrial Systems, which the Empire later annexed as well.^[10]
