In 228 BBY,[2] the Jedi Order undertook a mission to the planet Vixoseph I as part of its search for Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro. Ro, who was on Vixoseph for his own purposes in trying to find out whether he could replant the plague known as the blight and use a Drengir to spread it through the carnivorous plant's hive mind. When Ro noticed that the Jedi had arrived, he sent one of his Nameless creatures to kill them. Through the efforts of Jedi Knight Burryaga Agaburry and Jedi Masters Avar Kriss and Elzar Mann, however, the Jedi were able to kill the Nameless.[1]

While the Eye was conducting his "experiments" with the Drengir, his remaining Nameless, and blight, he was confronted by the arrival of Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh. After she attempted to kill a Drengir that had began to calcify as a result of the Nameless' effects, Ro interrupted and stopped Rwoh, telling her to not interfere. While the Drengir died, because of its hive mind, it spread the husking to another Drengir, successfully completing what the Eye had wanted. Ro was picked up by his secretary Thaya Ferr in his flagship, the Gaze Electric, and departed the planet.[1]
