Vixoseph I, or simply Vixoseph, was a planet that was located within Galactic Republic space during the High Republic Era. The planet's main colony was attacked by the Drengir carnivorous plant species, after which Vixoseph I remained largely uninhabited. The blight spread onto Vixoseph I, being reported after mining droids lost contact and the conglomerate in charge found signs of the affliction. Marchion Ro, leader of the Nihil marauders, visited Vixoseph during his investigation into the blight in an attempt to determine whether it could be replanted and spread by the Drengir's hive mind. Using the Rod of Power, Ro was able to walk into the blight safely, successfully replanting it.^[1]

Meanwhile, attempting to hunt down Ro, a Jedi Order and Republic Defense Coalition team used his previous travels to predict his presence on Vixoseph, embarking on a mission to the planet. Led by Jedi Master Avar Kriss, a group of Jedi landed on Vixoseph, and Ro, busy experimenting on the Drengir, dispatched a Nameless after them. Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh, having crashed her Jedi Vector while fighting the Drengir, witnessed one perish under the effect of the Nameless. Ro prevented Rwoh from intervening, discovering the Nameless could affect the Drengir through their hive mind before escaping on his flagship, the Gaze Electric, taking with him a sample of the blight. Master Elzar Mann, alongside Kriss and Knight Burryaga Agaburry, managed to defeat the Nameless together. Afterward, Agaburry attempted to connect with the blight on Vixoseph using the Force, sensing a feeling of homesickness.^[1]
