Solo is a game mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale. In this mode, 100 players individually compete to obtain a Victory Royale. Due to the independent nature of this mode, players are unable to be revived when knocked. Rebooting is also disabled upon elimination.
Description[]
Solo is the basis for all game modes in Fortnite Battle Royale.
Solo was introduced in the Pre-Season, being the first mode introduced to the game. It uses the standard set of rules, meaning there are 100 players who all compete to obtain a Victory Royale. In this mode, the player does not have any other squad members, and must fight alone. Due to this, reviving and rebooting is not possible, eliminating the player immediately.
Solo follows the basic rule-set of Battle Royale:
- 100 Players, all of which drop from the Battle Bus.
- Standard Loot Pool.
- Standard Gravity.
- Standard HP rules.
- Respawns are disabled.
- Glider Redeploy is disabled.
- Reboot Vans are disabled.
- Skill Based Matchmaking is enabled.
- Characters and Bars are enabled.
- Regular Storm Circle intervals.
- Bots are enabled.
- Building is enabled.
Trivia[]
- Solo was the first mode introduced into the game, as such it is considered the default mode for Battle Royale.
- However, due to it lacking a multi-player team function, it is missing the functions to knock, revive, and shakedown players.
