Welcome, Tomotron![]

Hello, Tomotron, and welcome to Wookieepedia! We hope you like the place and choose to join us in building the best Star Wars encyclopedia there is. Here are some things you should know:

Wookiees-Transparent

New to wikis? Don't worry, we were all new once. Our help pages will get you started, and the Jundland Wastes sandbox can be used for test edits. Don't be afraid to make mistakes—be bold!

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wookieepedian! If you have any questions, you can consult our FAQ, ask a question in the Senate Hall forum, visit our official IRC channel, or leave me a message on my talk page.
May the Force be with you! —MasterFredCommerce Guild(Whatever) 11:23, October 18, 2018 (UTC)

Mandalorians[]

Hey, just know that since they're in the middle of a civil war, the Mandalorians themselves are not actually combatants in either conflict. Fan26 (Talk) 22:38, October 19, 2018 (UTC)

Lightsaber duel[]

It has nothing to do with the Luke/Kylo thing, if you look at the history of the legends lightsaber duel page the list of every duel was reverted 3 times before, so why would it now be alright to add back? Not taking anything away from your edit because obviously it would've taken some time but its unnecessary really considering there's a category for duels already --Lewisr (talk) 00:21, January 9, 2019 (UTC)

Warning: Sourcing[]

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that at least one of your recent additions added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 00:21, January 9, 2019 (UTC)

Please do not remove messages from talk pages or other discussion pages. All messages are part of the public record and must remain visible. Thank you for your cooperation. - Cwedin(talk) 02:07, February 1, 2019 (UTC)

Wulff Yularen[]

Because its redundant to Anakin Skywalker's task force, which is already listed. Only one needs to be listed --Lewisr (talk) 10:45, February 8, 2019 (UTC)

Bleeding[]

I'm not sure its the same thing, I don't think he's actually bleeding them --Lewisr (talk) 13:12, February 8, 2019 (UTC)

Tagge[]

Yes he was a Grand General but that doesn't make him a commander in the GCW by default, what did he do in the GCW? None of the stuff in the Vader comic has him commanding anything against the Rebel Alliance --Lewisr (talk) 13:18, March 26, 2019 (UTC)

Uploading[]

While all good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated, we ask that you please refer to Wookieepedia:Images and familiarize yourself with the sourcing and licensing requirements before uploading any more images. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. Continued violation of the image policy or falsification of any information in an upload description are considered vandalism and will likely result in a block. Thank you. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 08:29, April 20, 2019 (UTC)

  • No worries, just to let you know for next time.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 10:07, April 20, 2019 (UTC)

TIE Fighter Owners' Workshop Manual[]

Could you point me where on that website is all that information. Is there a preview?--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 06:45, May 4, 2019 (UTC)

  • Okay, so this is an advice before you get a warning from someone else. If the information is not in encountered in the website then don't use the ref tag, you need to create a new reference using that new website]. I see that you added all those appearace using a false source, if someone else sees that it could be considered as speculation and removed from the page. I recommend you to create the new reference and change all those Speedy Hen tags for the new website tag preferably using the Haynes website--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 06:57, May 4, 2019 (UTC)
    • Thanks for using the correct sources.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 07:37, May 4, 2019 (UTC)

RE: Pellaeon[]

"'Even though his radio transmission gets cut off there, I'm not trying to say that Pellaeon would be dead,' Filoni said. 'I don't think that's it for him. I would like to see other stories with the guy.'" As you can see, Filoni is expressing his hope that other authors would continue the character's story. His interview with a random website is not considered an official source for Wookieepedia anyway. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 02:29, May 8, 2019 (UTC)

Imperial Army trooper[]

On What page of Rise of the Separatists book does it give the name?--Jkirk8907 (talk) 07:36, June 23, 2019 (UTC)

  • Its Dawn of Rebellion not Rise, I just noticed that you Tomotron added that Dawn gives that name to the Imperial Army soldier. Can you provide me with the page of the book where it says it. I've been looking for it and I can't find it.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 08:06, June 23, 2019 (UTC)
    • Did you ever find out the page that lists the Imperial Army trooper?--Jkirk8907 (talk) 09:42, June 24, 2019 (UTC)
      • Given the lack of an answer, and the fact that myself and Lewis have gone through the book 4 times, the page is going to be moved back to the conjectural name soon. If you have the exact page number please let us know before we make that change.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:15, June 25, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Lightsaber article[]

Hi, that's not why I reverted your edits. The reason is that your revision removed the first instance of several references, resulting in a number of reference errors later in the article, as can be seen in the Notes and references scrollbox. In addition, I recommend you use a more descriptive edit summary when you conduct such large removals. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 21:39, July 9, 2019 (UTC)

Hello. Please note that your signature currently violates Rule 1 of our Signature policy, so make sure you correct it as soon as possible. Thank you, Imperators II(Talk) 17:57, July 13, 2019 (UTC)

Signature[]

Hello, Tomotron. This message is to inform you that your custom user signature is currently in violation of our Signature policy, which states that custom sigs may only have one image. We ask that you please adjust your signature accordingly. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:16, July 13, 2019 (UTC)

SWTOR[]

Hi, just to be sure that the cleanup has been done correctly, given the large removal of information. Are you veryfing that the appearances are already on the other expansions articles? Or are you just removing without verifying?--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:59, July 13, 2019 (UTC)

  • Thanks, glad to hear it. I was worried that the large amount of information was just removed without verifying if its was already in the correct place.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 01:39, July 14, 2019 (UTC)

Infobox[]

I reverted per this. Bullet point 6: "…the "Affiliations" field of infoboxes shall list sub-bullets to a maximum depth of one (example: *Galactic Empire **Stormtrooper Corps). This is done for aesthetic reasons with regard to article presentation in the Fandom skin." That means that only Galactic Republic and the Task Force are mentioned. But in my opinion instead of Task Force it should be listed only the Republic Navy, but that's my opinion --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:04, July 16, 2019 (UTC)

  • I would say so, I think Yularen can use the most generic one since he didn't served only in Anakin's task force. So I think its totally fine to use Republic Navy instead of just the Task Force. This wouldn't be the case with, for example Dao who only commanded one fleet, that's why Dao has the fleet instead of Republic Navy--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:14, July 16, 2019 (UTC)

RE:Thrawn Treason[]

Hey no worries, I figured it was something like that. It's not rare that it happens, it's happened to me too lol. Have a good one!--Vitus InfinitusTalk 14:36, July 23, 2019 (UTC)

RE: Interdictor[]

Sorry, I didn't saw your message until now been kind of busy. Yes, the Interdictor does seem to have hangars, but do we know that it carries TIEs? I know that they probably do, but there's no information that says that, that's why I removed the TIEs from there. As for the gravity wells and engines, yes I would say it has four gravity wells and 7 engines with 3 being of main use--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 07:42, August 5, 2019 (UTC)

Legends Sith[]

I'm pretty certain it was also partly due to the fact some of these pages are/were status articles meaning there's a good chance it was the way it was for a reason --Lewisr (talk) 11:48, August 20, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Abbas Assi‎[]

Hello. Please familiarize yourself with Wookieepedia's Civility policy, which identifies calling for blocks on other uses and judgmental comments regarding another user's contributions, such as calling their edits "crap," as examples of incivility. If you identify another user making poor or detrimental edits, please bring the issue to an administrator, as you have done, and trust that it will be handled appropriately from there. But leave your personal comments out of it, please. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 04:26, August 23, 2019 (UTC)

Purge troopers clone trooper[]

Is there an actual source that says the Purge Troopers are wearing clone trooper armor? --Lewisr (talk) 04:35, November 27, 2019 (UTC)

  • Fair enough --Lewisr (talk) 04:44, November 27, 2019 (UTC)

Death troopers[]

I get that, but for the same reason we didn't include Imperial Intelligence as appearing in those episodes, I wouldn't list Intelligence as an affiliation for death troopers that are speficially only appearing as guards for the Tarkin Initiative --Lewisr (talk) 23:21, November 27, 2019 (UTC)

Vibroblade Edit[]

Hey, just wondering what weapon Mando was wielding during his fight with Paz Vizla. I assumed it was a vibroblade because it was vibrating and on Mando's page a vibroblade is also listed as one of his weapons. --Christhewalrus (talk) 03:18, December 2, 2019 (UTC)

Grand Inquisitor's lightsaber[]

I'm not saying whether its there or not, but the point is that even in the book its stated as pretty speculative information since it says 'The process of construction of The Grand Inquisitor's lightsaber was unknown' 'It was possible that' 'however, it may have been issued'. If something was unknown generally we'd leave it out, much like if said source also said so and so's ultimate fate was unknown we wouldn't include it --Lewisr (talk) 13:53, December 10, 2019 (UTC)

Crystals[]

No problems -- I assume its because you couldn't delete the initial redirects to move the Legends versions. Most of the time moving is no hassle, but it can get a little messy when dealing with two versions of the same subject and a couple of redirects. Admins should always be able to help out when needed. - Sir Cavalier of OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 13:28, December 14, 2019 (UTC)

Form V[]

No problem, thanks for bringing it up! Ever since the page was made back in 2015 that was how it done so I guess now its been cleared up properly --Lewisr (talk) 03:35, December 15, 2019 (UTC)

Hello, Tomotron. This message is to inform you that your user signature is currently in violation of our Signature policy, which states that user signatures "must include your actual, full username." This means that your signature should not include the name "Darth," which is not part of your username. I am sending this message as a request for you to revise your many signatures on the Mister/Miss Star Wars vote pages rather than us having to strike all of them in accordance with the contest rules. Imperial Office of Security article[]

Hi Tomotron. It does indeed have the right name. 4D6-J-A7's entry on page 7 in Geektionary starts "An arrogant and mean RA-7 droid, 4D6-J-A7 was stationed at the Imperial Office of Security on Scarif." Geektionary doesn't explicitly say the office is in the tower and doesn't state that it or 4D6-J-A7 are part of the ISB so you might need to rework your referencing. RE:Secutor-class[]

Hey Tomotron, I see where you're coming from and I looked more closely. I found that it says Battlecruiser/carrier on the info section, but it's referred to as a battlecarrier throughout the section as well. It's also named in the section heading and other places such as the first sentence as the Secutor-class Battlecarrier. It's possible that Battlecruiser/carrier on its hull type means that it can be classified as a battlecruiser or battlecarrier, and that battlecarrier is not a slang term like Super Star Destroyer. Either way, Tommy-Macaroni got that article to good status and he's going to be updating him so it should be up to him to determine the best approach and any objections can be discussed there. Cheers! And thanks for letting me know!--Vitus InfinitusTalk 03:11, March 3, 2020 (UTC)

Winmey Lenz[]

Hello. Recently you flagged my edit regarding the Senator of Chandrila Winmey Lenz as being unverified. I was wondering how I am able to verify that information. It’s pretty clearly stated from the canon novel Leia that he is the Senior Senator of Chandrila in 3 BBY, so I’m not sure how I can verify that. Thanks for the help. I’m brand new to this wookiepedia thing and I want to be able to help editing, especially once the new Project luminous stuff comes out. I’m a big Old Republic fan! Thanks again. What is low quality? Jabba did others who resisted, disobeyed, defied and refused him. He used the Rancor to kill others before he killed Oola. There have others who did suffer same death or fatr for the same reason because they refused to Jabba what he wanted. The same thing has happened to oyhers.

But why is it called low quality? If anything I thought that is always a good thing to add more information. Are you picking about edits and information? So what are you saying it has to be high quality in order to be allowed? Do you only expect high quality? Fandom User (talk) 12:42 May 3, 2020 (UTC)

Hi, I'm reaching out to you on behalf of the AgriCorps. You're receiving this message because you have nominated at least one GAN this year while reviewing fewer than two GANs per each of your nominations. As you know, the GAN is a community project that can only operate when Wookieepedians both nominate and review articles. We therefore encourage you to review more GANs. Not only is this an act of giving back to the community, but reviewing others' articles is the best way to improve your own article writing as well. We look forward to seeing more reviews from you! Why did you remove the Pre-Ruusan Jedi Knights and Jedi Consulars? It was definitely right and didn't need to be removed. Reply:Galactic Republic dates[]

It seems that the Sith fell and the Republic's reformation began "around" or circa 1,032 BSW4 (1032 BBY), but that the exact year the Republic was restored is 1032 BSW4 (1032 BBY) per the third entry which doesn't use circa and is located on the Galactic Republic holocron file. I think we could say something like the Sith Empire fell and the restoration of democracy began sometime around 1032 BBY (per the two entries using circa), but that 1032 BBY is the exact year the Republic's restoration was completed (per the third entry). Galaxy Heroes being none cannon[]

Finally I'm able to find away to talk to you, kept thinking (Well I don't want to edit this guys page..how do I talk to him??) and later it's the only way to talk to him is head to Edit Page. so anyways explain to me how Clone Private is a canon rank even though SWGH isn't considered canon at all. All I know it's just a filler because the game has other recognizable of clones like Captain Rex and Commander Cody for example. It's also probably the devs or someone above them told them to change it so maybe that's why. So please, explain why you think Private is canon besides saying SWGH but if you have to bring it up because of course no other sources that I know said anything about it, you can bring it up. Darth Vader - Supreme Commander Promotion (EU)[]

Both the old STAR WARS Encyclopedia (at some point when EU info also used to be listed) and Kenner's products say that Darth Vader held the rank of "Supreme Commander of Imperial Forces"; neither source mentions (at least from what I recall) when was he granted this wide special commission. However, the Imperial Sourcebook (I don't own it, I've seen bits and pieces of it on Wookieepedia and Reddit and checked them at a nearby bookstore where they have one for accuracy) says that, not long after the Yavin disaster, Ars Dangor demanded that all other personnel fully submit to the whims of Darth Vader, who was now to be officially the secondary power in charge of the Imperial Forces and whose instructions were to be treated with the same deference reserved for Darth Sidious - this implies that the cyborg was welcomed into the standard hierarchy after the debacle with the Death Star, thus the title of Supreme Commander seemed to have been conceived and conferred to Vader during the year 0 ABY - he may have held it earlier, the Dark Times comic series and the novel Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader suggest he already held a position of power after the founding of the Galactic Empire, though the Emperor might have simply stated that everyone save the oversector governors were to obey his apprentice - the fact that Trachta and Tarkin do not answer to Vader indicates that he yet maintained an invisible post and that he was yet to receive his later formal one above them - Supreme Commander and Grand Vizier seem to outclass Grand Moffs in the power ladder. Core name removal on Miskara (individual)[]

Greetings.

Please be aware, that one of your additions to Miskara removed a Chiss core name, which is necessary as context for the article, as the article refers to him as "Thrawn" later. Thank you. I have reverted your edits, for now. Cheers. — Samonic ChissAscendancyCanonSymbol 11:43, 29 April 2022 (UTC)

Revan mention in SWG[]

Hi, I updated Revan's page. In the Nightsister's Revenge SWG card game, you could win the HK-47 Statuette for the main game. The statuette's description mentions Revan: "HK-47 was built by the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Revan at the end of the Mandolorian Wars to assasinate the Dark Lord's enemies."
