Negan is an antagonist and a survivor of the outbreak in Rick Grimes 2000. He served as the primary antagonist for the second half of Rick Grimes 2000.

- Based off the cover art for Chapter 4, his body seems to have modified in some way as evident by having two robotic hands.
- This also makes him one of five people turned into super soldiers to not have died. The other characters are Rick Grimes, Carl Grimes, Eugene Porter, and Andrea.
- Negan is one of six main series characters to have been introduced after Issue 75 to be in this series.
- The other five are Paul Monroe, Juanita Sanchez, Beta, Alpha, and Andrea Grimes.
- Negan was a fan of anime before the apocalypse.
- This is the only incarnation of Negan to have a dead status.
- Negan is the only character who dies in Rick Grimes 2000 whose main series counterpart is still alive.
- Negan's death is reminiscent of his killing of Glenn in the main series, ironically, Negan's death here is caused by Glenn's wife, Maggie.
- Maggie was originally planned to kill Negan in Issue 174.
- He is also the last named character to die in Rick Grimes 2000.
