- "I would and will kill for a decent bowl of Yorkan stew."
- ―The Trandoshan, to Zyle Keem
A Trandoshan male Nihil worked for the captain I'nah's crew aboard her vessel. In 229 BBY, he was in a meeting in the ship's briefing room and attempted to convince Nihil scientist Niv Drendow Apruk not to travel to the Outer Rim planet Valo and instead stay aboard. Afterward, the Trandoshan escorted the aspiring pirate Zyle Keem—who had been eavesdropping on the conversation—to the ship's galley.
Biography[]

"Is also not here. Which leaves me effectively in charge. Turn the ship around." - ―The Trandoshan and Niv Dendrow Apruk
A Trandoshan male was a Nihil marauder who lived during the High Republic Era. He worked for the crew of the Nihil captain I'nah on a vessel commandeered from the Galactic Republic. For some time, the crew patrolled the Stormwall—a hyperspace barrier separating the Occlusion Zone from the rest of Republic space—from the rest of the galaxy.[1] In 229 BBY,[2] he attended a meeting in the ship's briefing room and told the Nihil scientist Niv Drendow Apruk that the Nihil's leader, Marchion Ro, needed him to stay aboard instead of traveling to the Outer Rim planet Valo to gather materials for his experiments.[1]

The Trandoshan escorted Zyle Keem (pictured) to the ship's galley.
The aspiring pirate Zyle Keem eavesdropped on the meeting, but Apruk instructed the Trandoshan to see who was nearby when they were heard outside the door. Keem greeted the Trandoshan as they ate lochi fruits and let the peels slowly fall onto the floor. When they asked if they were at the galley, the Trandoshan took the child to the canteen at Apruk's suggestion. The Nihil man quickly became overwhelmed and annoyed with Keem's persistent questions, telling them anything they wanted to know out of frustration—including how many crew members were on the ship, that his favorite food was Yorkan stew, and where the ship's emergency shuttles were.[1]
The Trandoshan hurriedly left Keem at the galley before they could ask more questions, unaware that the latter had taken his access card. Keem attempted to inquire if they would need to pay for what they ate, but upon receiving no response, they then proceeded to fill their coat with food. Afterward, Keem fled I'nah's ship to travel to Valo in hopes of acquiring the rare materials Apruk was seeking to make a profit, leaving in one of the shuttles the Trandoshan had told them of by using the pickpocketed access card. After the Trandoshan returned to the briefing room, I'nah's ship eventually traveled to Valo not long afterward at Apruk's request.[1]
Personality and traits[]

The Trandoshan was annoyed with Keem's sloppy behavior when they dropped lochi peels on the floor of his captain's vessel and became more irritated with the child when he was escorting them to the galley. He considered Yorkan stew his favorite food, telling Keem he was willing to kill for a good bowl of it.[1]
Equipment[]
While on I'nah's ship, he wore spiny pauldrons and had an access card.[1]
