Phasma is the unabridged audio version of the canon novel of the same name, written by Delilah S. Dawson. The audiobook was performed by January LaVoy and was released by Random House Audio on September 1, 2017, as part of Journey to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Therefore, the year 34 ABY begins at least half a year prior to Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, and since a few weeks is shorter than half a year, Phasma must be set between "The Recruit" and Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, thereby placing it in 34 ABY.
