The Otomok system,^[5] also referred to simply as Otomok,^[6] was a star system located in the galaxy's^[3] Outer Rim Territories^[1] that contained the planets Hays Major and Hays Minor.^[3]

In 10 ABY,^[7] the future First Order jet trooper CS-9147 was born in the system.^[8] Sometime later, the First Order blockaded the whole system^[3] for ore.^[9] They destroyed a Resistance base in the system.^[10]
