Minecraft is an open-world sandbox video game developed by Mojang Studios. The game provides a few game modes for players to choose from. "Creative Mode" allow players to be creative and create anything with no limitations, while "Survival Mode" give players the chance to survive against hostile enemies and build with a limited resources.[5]

Star Wars Classic Skin Pack[]

Star Wars Classic Skin Pack is a paid cosmetic pack consist of 50 skins of characters and species from all three films of the original trilogy. It was developed by 4J Studios and released by Mojang on November 25, 2014.[9] Characters served under the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War such as Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, Darth Vader, Darth Sidious, and others are available for players to choose from.[10]

Star Wars Rebels Skin Pack[]

Star Wars Rebels Skin Pack is the second paid cosmetic pack consist of over 20 skins from the Disney Channel animated television series Star Wars Rebels. It was developed by 4J Studios and released by Mojang on February 10, 2015. Characters from the animated show such as Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Alexsandr Kallus, and others are available for player to choose from.[11]

Star Wars Prequel Skin Pack[]

Star Wars Prequel Skin Pack is another paid cosmetic pack that consist of over 50 skins of characters from all three films of the prequel trilogy. It was also developed by 4J Studios and released by Mojang on October 23, 2015. Characters from both sides of the Clone Wars such as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Padmé Amidala, Dooku, and others are available for players to pick.[12]

Star Wars Sequel Skin Pack[]

On March 27, 2018, Star Wars Sequel Skin Pack was released by Mojang, a few months after the theatrical release of Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi[13] on December 15, 2017.[14] It was a paid cosmetic pack developed by 4J Studios. The skin pack provided 55 skins of characters from the first two films of the sequel trilogy, Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi. Characters such as Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, Snoke, and others are featured for players to choose from.[13]

Solo: A Star Wars Story Pack[]

Solo: A Star Wars Story Pack is a cosmetic pack based on the 2018 film of the same name released by Mojang Studios on August 28, 2018.[15] It consist of over 30 character skins seen in the film including Han Solo, Chewbacca, Qi'ra, Tobias Beckett, Rio Durant, Dryden Vos, and many more available to choose from.[16]

Minecraft Star Wars[]

On November 16, 2020, Minecraft Star Wars was released by Mojang Studios. It is a paid story adventure DLC featuring familiar characters and locations from the films of the original trilogy and the first season of the 2019 Disney+ live-action series The Mandalorian. It was developed by 4J Studios and Mojang Studios in collaboration with Disney and Lucasfilm.[7]

There are 36 skins in total included along with one massive map divided into multiple sections for the different planets. Each location has recognizable set pieces seen in the films and series. The DLC also provide a texture pack changing the pre-existing textures and models into materials, vehicles, and characters from the Star Wars universe.[17]

Minecraft Star Wars: Path of the Jedi[]

Minecraft Star Wars: Path of the Jedi is the second paid story adventure DLC for Minecraft, and will let the player take on the role of a Padawan of the Jedi Order during the time of Clone Wars. On his way to ascend to the rank of Jedi Knight, the player will be able to build his own lightsaber, as well as customizing a droid. It will released on November 7, 2023.[8]
