Bubbles was a six meter tall rathtar who lived in the Lonisa City Zoo on the Outer Rim planet Valo during the High Republic Era. At one point Bubbles broke out of the zoo and enountered the Jedi younglings Gavi, Kildo, and Tep Tep. Tep Tep used the Force to calm down the creature and she brought Bubbles to the Valo Jedi temple to heal its injuries, though the rathtar was barely able to fit through the temple door due to its size. Jedi Master Eicho saw the creature before passing out and Bubbles tried to eat him. After the incident, Eicho spoke harshly to Tep Tep about bringing the rathtar to the temple and told her that she could not keep it.^[1] In 229 BBY,^[2] while introducing herself to Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram, Tep Tep recalled the incident with Bubbles and claimed she would not have let the rathtar eat Eicho, and in response Kildo stated that the Master had not known that.^[1]

Bubbles was mentioned in Escape from Valo, a 2024 junior novel written by Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's^[1] Phase III.^[3]
