Guiron (ã‚®ãƒãƒ³ Giron?) is a kaiju from the Rebirth continuity. It made its debut in the fourth episode of the 2023 Netflix-exclusive animated series, Gamera: Rebirth.

Appearance[]
Guiron appears as a quadrupedal creature with a dark-blue hide resembling a spinal column, four scaled legs with five silver claws, a short tail, light-blue spikes, a slender torso, smooth underside, and a head encased in a large silver blade that's as long as its body. The bladed head also opens up to reveal a three-part mandible held by muscles.

Blade attacks[]
Guiron can utilize its head blade to slash and pierce through human-made objects and other Kaiju flesh, and to burrow through ground instantly.
Flexibility[]
Guiron's body is extremely flexible, allowing it to perform powerful slashes by rising on its hind legs and extend its torso in a rubber band-style manner.
Agility[]
Due to its flexible body, Guiron is agile enough to avoid attacks from Gamera.
Leaping[]
Despite its colossal size, Guiron can leap over long distances in the air.
Shuriken railgun[]
Guiron can transfer energy from its back to shuriken like blades stored in its tail and launch them along the spine and out its head blade like a railgun.
