Destoroyah (デストãƒã‚¤ã‚¢ Desutoroia?) of the Godzilla in Hell continuity is a demonic crustacean kaiju created by IDW that first appeared in the 2015 Godzilla comic, Godzilla in Hell. A version of the monster spawned in Hell, he appears as one of the obstacles Godzilla faces in his journey through the afterlife.
Design[]
Appearance[]
Destoroyah's appearance ins completely identical to his appearance in the Heisei era. He is a dark read with multiple orange and white patches and teeth. He possesses his signature head crescents, and is littered with red spikes.
Roar[]
Much like King Ghidorah, his roars are portrayed with "Reeeeeeaks".
Personality[]
Destoroyah in this comic is even more brutal and sadistic, due to being a manifestation from hell. He doesn't care what he destroys when attempting to reach his goal. He and Ghidorah both feel that they should be the one to finish Godzilla for good, and will even fight one another to do so.
History[]
Godzilla in Hell[]
Destoroyah appears in the fourth issue of Godzilla in Hell. In this issue, Destoroyah and King Ghidorah battled Godzilla in a recreation of Tokyo in Hell, surrounded by a wall of flesh. Any time any of the three monsters were killed or mortally wounded, they instantly recovered and continued their assault. Godzilla eventually tricked Destoroyah and King Ghidorah into aiding him in escape by ducking when they both fired their beams and combining his beam with them, creating a blast powerful enough to destroy the wall. As Godzilla marched onward, Destoroyah, King Ghidorah, and everything else on the battlefield besides Godzilla disappeared into nothingness.
Abilities[]
Micro-Oxygen beam[]
Like his other iterations, Destoroyah can fire a purple beam of Micro-oxygen from his mouth. It can match both Godzilla's Atomic Breath and Ghidorah's Gravity Beams.
Flight[]

In his flying form, Destoroyah can fly and glide extremely fast, he can also fly in his perfect form.
Breakdown[]
Destoroyah can switch into his smaller flying form, as well as his Aggregate form.
Strength in combat[]
Destoroyah is shown to be a physical match for both Godzilla and Ghidorah physically. Before being defeated Destoroyah was able to successfully slice off Godzilla's head, knock him to the floor with his tail, and stab Ghidorah with his horn.
Regeneration[]
Due to his demonic nature, Destoroyah can regenerate from almost any damage. In the beginning of issue 4, we see Destoroyah regrow lost tissue and his horn in just a few seconds
