The Whipslash is created from the remains of a Warbat, comprised mostly of its spinal column. The top half of the Warbat's skull is removed while the lower mandible remains attached, and it serves as the weapon's handle. The other end of the Whipslash was fitted with a sharp blue crystal that the Skar King used to control Shimo. When not in use, the Skar King wore the Whipslash on his torso from the right shoulder like a sash.
Capabilities[]
The Skar King used the Whipslash as a weapon to whip, slash, and strangle his enemies in combat. He could also use it to ensnare objects like a lasso before throwing it at his intended targets.
After Kong challenged the Skar King into combat, the latter used the Whipslash against Kong's battle axe, and to slash and strangle Kong before the latter physically overpowered him. The Skar King then used the crystal on his Whipslash to summon and sic Shimo to kill Kong, who was then forced to retreat after suffering a frostbite by Shimo.
Later on, the Skar King utilized his Whipslash during his battle with Godzilla and Kong before escaping through a vortex that leads to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Having arrived first, Skar King used the Whipslash's crystal to command Shimo to bring forth a new Ice Age before Godzilla and Kong arrived to interfere. During the final battle, the Skar King used the Whipslash to grapple onto a part of a building to throw at Kong before the latter used his B.E.A.S.T. Glove to counter it. When the Skar King tried to fight Godzilla with the Whipslash, the Alpha Titan caught the weapon in his jaws and wrestled it off the ape's hands before destroying it with a single bite. The Skar King was then forced to rely on the crystal alone to continue controlling Shimo before Suko used Kong's axe to shatter it, freeing Shimo from the Skar King's control.
