The unidentified giant centipede is an insect kaiju that first appeared in the MonsterVerse animated series, Skull Island.

Appearance[]

The creature is remarkably similar to standard centipedes, albeit many times larger, even surpassing humans in size and height.

Roar[]

The giant centipede could be heard making rapid chittering and hissing noises during its confrontation with Cap.

Personality[]

The giant centipede was predatory in nature, and preferred to attack its prey directly rather than ambush them. However, if harmed or intimidated sufficiently, the arthropod monster will quickly give up the hunt and retreat.

History[]

Skull Island[]

While running through the forests of Skull Island in search of his son, Cap was confronted by the giant centipede. As the massive insect reared up and prepared to attack, Mike shot the creature in the eyes with a flare gun. Disoriented and frightened, the giant centipede quickly retreated.
