A passkey is a password alternative that helps you securely sign into your Walmart account. Passkeys can be saved in your cloud service account (E.g., Apple or Google account) and you’ll be able to use it on all devices associated with that account.
How to Use Passkeys
Follow the steps below to add a Passkey to your Walmart account:
- Open the Walmart app or website.
- Sign into your account.
- Select Account.
- Under Manage Account
- For Android, Select Passkeys.
- For iOS, Select Face ID & passkeys.
- Create passkey.
Removing a Passkey from your Walmart account:
- Open the Walmart app or website.
- Sign into your account.
- Select Account.
- Under Manage Account
- For Android, Select Passkeys.
- For iOS, Select Face ID & passkeys.
- Review passkeys you use to sign in.
- Select Remove from the appropriate passkey.

Use Passkeys with Two-Factor Authentication
If you’ve turned on Two-Factor Authentication and use a passkey instead of a password to sign-in, you won’t need to verify a one-time verification code after logging in with the passkey.
Privacy Consideration
Our website or app doesn’t receives or store your biometric information with passkeys. Your personal device doesn’t release biometric material.
