Alcohol Orders

You can include alcohol in your delivery and/or pickup order if state or local laws allow it.

You'll find alcohol items under the Grocery department in the Alcohol category.

Reasons You Won’t Get Your Alcohol Order 

  • You’re under 21 years of age.
  • You can't provide a valid government-issued photo ID.
    • For delivery orders, the entire order will be returned to the store if you can't show a valid ID.
    • For pickup orders, the alcohol will be removed from your order if you can’t show a valid ID.
      • You will not be charged for the removed alcohol.
  • You appear intoxicated.
  • You appear to be giving alcohol to someone under 21.

Alcohol Sales Hours Vary 

Some states and local laws may prevent the sale of alcohol during certain business hours.

  • Orders with alcohol will only be delivered during alcohol sales hours. 
  • If you try to pick up your alcohol order outside the legal hours to sell alcohol, youll have to wait until the legal hours or the alcohol will be removed from your order. 

ID Requirements

You'll be asked to show a valid government-issued photo ID for all orders with alcohol.

  • Pickup orders:
    • The curbside associate will ask for your photo ID. 
    • They’ll enter your birthday into their device to complete age verification.  
  • Delivery orders:
    • The delivery driver will ask for your photo ID. 
    • They’ll use their delivery driver app to scan your ID.
  • InHome orders:
    • The InHome associate will ask for your photo ID. 
    • They’ll use their device to scan your ID.
