- "I will be Foreman, as my grandfather was. My people know their place. I will provideβ¦and they will rejoice."
- βJul Tambor
Jul Tambor was a Skakoan male[1] nationalist[2] and pirate[4] who was the grandson of Techno Union Foreman Wat Tambor[2] and the son of Wat Tambor II.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[5] Tambor led an uprising to reclaim the planet Skako Minor from a regime loyal to the Galactic Empire. According to the Empire, Tambor enlisted pirates to blockade the planet and to stockpile technology of all kinds.[2] Darth Vader and the former handmaiden SabΓ© were sent to stop Tambor.[2] His ultimate fate was held in the hands of SabΓ©.[4] While on Brentaal IV, Tambor stated the pirates who attacked did not work for him,[1] but, with the bombing of Kantiema, it became clear to the Skakoans he was not the selfless savior[3] he presented himself as.[1]
