Hat Lo was a self-proclaimed crime lord on Coruscant during the last days of the Galactic Republic. Although he liked to think of himself as the largest crime boss on the planet, he was in reality nothing more than a thug with cash.

His longterm consort was Ayy Vida and he employed Tas Kee along with several Codru-Ji as bodyguards.

He owned the Sign of the Tri-Forked Tongue cantina in the Coruscant underworld.

Hat Lo did business with many people, including Boba Fett, who he sold a flechette pistol during the Clone Wars.
