Yadoshogyo (
Appearance[]
Yadoshogyo are large, jetblack Phantoms with octopus-like features. They have two glowing eyes, a gigantic incisor-lined mouth at the top of their heads, with several smaller mouths growing out of their sides. They have eight tentacles that they use to ensnare and attack their prey.
Personality[]
Yadoshogyo are Phantoms that kidnap humans. They are able to entrance humans and summon them to their side. They do not easily reveal themselves, even in the presence of Beckoning Hands. However, they become more vulnerable to detection after they summon their prey.
Synopsis[]
Intro Arc[]
A Yadoshogyo appears in Iori and Riku's school, residing in an empty classroom on the first floor, and tries to summon and kidnap their classmate, Tomoka Fujisaki. Although successfully at luring Tomoka, the Yadoshogyo is easily defeated by Iori using Ongyoki's arm.
Abilities[]
Yadoshogyo are able to entrance humans by putting them under a hypnotic curse. While under the curse, the victim will not be able to control their action and will have no recollection of the events that transpired during the period. Yadoshogyo also use their tentacles to fight when cornered.
Trivia[]
- Yadoshogyo's name contains the kanji for "octopus" (章魚, tako).
