Kento Matsuura (健人松浦 Matsuura Kento?), is a Japanese manga artist and the illustrator of Phantom Seer.

History[]

Matsuura's first work was on what became the main inspiration for Phantom Seer, a oneshot of the same name that he also worked on along side Togo Goto. It was released in Weekly Shonen Jump on August 27, 2018.

Matsuura's next published work began in 2019 on June 3, and was a manga series named Tokyo Shinobi Squad (トーキョー忍スクワッド Tōkyō Shinobu Sukuwaddo?) which he collaborated with its author, Yuki Tanaka, to create. The series was published in Weekly Shonen Jump, and reached 27 chapters spanning 3 volumes before it finally ended the same year on December 9.[1]

His current work is, once again, along side Goto on their current series, Phantom Seer (仄見える少年 Honomieru Shōnen?), which began serialization in WSJ August 31, 2020 and is currently ongoing.
