A band operated on the Outer Rim planet Valo during the High Republic Era. During the Nihil marauders' occupation of the world[1] in 229 BBY,[2] Acting Regional Commander Vark Tarpalin forced the band to participate in his Dark Fair event celebrating the anniversary of the destruction of the Starlight Beacon space station. Shortly before the fair's start, he heard the group begin playing their music—which he felt sounded raucous—from the balcony of his official mansion on Valo. However, the Dark Fair was disrupted by the "Scarlet Skull"—secretly Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram, operating in disguise—before the event could formally commence.[1]

The band was mentioned in Escape from Valo, a 2024 junior novel written by Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
