Plot summary[]

According to legend, parents on the planet Cerosha would use tales of 'The Dark Wraith' to warn children against misbehaving.

One tale revolved around a rebellious boy named Jherl who refused to obey his parents. His parents initially hoped that he would grow out it but as time went on and he continued to misbehave his mother became increasingly worried that the Dark Wraith would strike the boy down. One evening Jherl crawled through the broken window of a merchant's store in order to steal sweets. But the Dark Wairth had been watching and threw open the doors to the store with a flick of his wrist and punished the boy.

Another tale concerned a girl named Marionette. After being recognized for her academic talents she was sent to a academy for the talented and gifted. While at the academy, Marionette found it difficult to adjust to not being the center of attention and believed herself to be above the rules. She began to terrorize the other students and when warned by her parents that she risks bring the Dark Wraith continued to misbehave. However one night the Dark Wraith came to the girl's dormitory and stole Marionette away.

Not all the tales of the Dark Wraith involved children, one such was about the notorious Togruta gambler Kup'bree'ak. Kup'bree'ak traveled to Cerosha to win big at the Solace casinos. With in three months he was one of the wealthiest gamblers in the city but word got around that he would use underhanded tactics to win his matches. After one of Kup'bree'ak hired gangster accidentally killed one of his opponents, the Dark Wraith visited his wrath on Kup'bree'ak.

Another tale told of the Dark Wraith's complete destruction of the city of Solace within a single night.
