Tafgum was a substance with stretchy qualities, allowing it to be pulled in different directions.[1] In 229 BBY,[2] Nihil marauders attacked the Lonisa City Zoo hideout of three Valon Jedi younglings—Gavi, Tep Tep, and Kildo. When the Force-eating Nameless creature Grendrek moved to feed on Kildo, Gavi experienced hallucinations and thought the beast's face resembled that of Jedi Master Kunpar Vasivola, except distorted and stretched like tafgum.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Tafgum was mentioned in Escape from Valo, a 2024 junior novel written by Daniel José Older and Alyssa Wong as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
